Old Chicago

Old Chicago is a little pricy for what it is but we had a great experience and our server was attentive. The Mozzarella Sticks were fantastic, maybe some if the best that I have had. The Thai pie pizza was excellent. I was nervous about how all of the flavors would come together but the ingredients were well orchestrated and in turn the pizza was deliciously flavorful. Overall, I would return just to order those mozzarella sticks again and maybe even try a different pizza flavor!

Will not return. I go the Old Chicago in North Kansas city on a regular basis, and enjoy it, so i thought it was a good pick when i went to Lawrence to visit a friend. My friend and I dined on a Saturday afternoon, restaurant was not busy, maybe 5 tables and a couple people at the bar. Ordered within 5 to 10 minutes of being there. Appetizer pepperoni rolls, they came out fairly quickly. We ordered our meals at same time. I had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich with fries and she had the chicken pesto Mac, our waitress was very friendly but after about 20-25 minutes after appetizer was out I had to flag her down and check on our lunch meals. She left, came back right away and said sorry about the wait, but it wasn't ready yet. Waited another 10 minutes, and again asked her how long it was going to be, she again left, came back and told us she could bring out the pesto Mac, but the chicken sandwich was not ready...🙄, she did not give us an approximate time either, at this time we pretty hungry, going on 45 minutes with nothing but an appetizer, and finally received our food. My chicken was not warm, and the fries were stale and over fried, my friends chicken pesto Mac had no chicken! I am extremely disappointed and for over 60 dollars it was not worth the wait! I will not return. I was disappointed and I was hungry, so I ate some of it, and decided not to complain. We had an event to get to, so I didn't have time to talk to the manager.

We had Old Chicago cater our monthly office lunch in May and they went above and beyond for us! The food was delicious, and not only did they have it ready on-time (which was a challenge because I contacted them the day before), but several of their employees got everything to my car. They gave us a good deal, and our staff LOVED it all!! We will definitely choose them again in the future! Thank you again!!!! :)

It was my and a friend very frist time eating at this restaurant! We Walked in and we was greeted with a smile and was seated really fast with no wait! The sever he was very nice and helpful when it came to are question! The food we order was cooked the way we wanted it and the taste of the food was excellent! The manager was very nice and she talked to us with the most respected and even answer more of are question! It's going to be one of of regular place to eat at in the near future!

Service great, after that 😔😔. Food had some much salt in it there was no taste, well salt. Appetizer where okay, but for the amount of them for the cost, skip them. Ice tea was good... Will not go back. Ps reported the over salting to waitress, she relaid to manager, but manager didn't seem to care never heard from manager maybe manager needs a new job. Waist of time dinning there.

Great experience all around!! The food was good, atmosphere perfect for a summer early evening and Emma our waitress was a rock star!! We had a party of 8, including two littles 3 and under. She never missed a beat and kept us all happy. Never had to ask for drink refills, brought kids meals out quickly etc! Thank you Emma!!
