Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

The food was good, I called in advance for my wife's birthday to have them put her name on a lava cake and when we got there I reminded them it was like it went in one ear and out the other it never happened disappointed probably wont be back asked for a to go box and found 2 long black hairs in the box ,took it back to them because it was realy gross. Haven't been to a restaurant since the pandemic thought this place would be good

Honestly it isn't often I comment negatively but we went there to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Not only was the service nearly non existent. Talking sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting for anything as simple as an order. With one to go order mentioned at the very beginning being completely ignored and not placed. My Mother's food was definitely funky and after dropping it off our waiter didn't show up again for so long we had to ask someone else's waiter to find him. Then after that he vanished again for even longer and by this point it was just ridiculous. When politely walking to the manager after waiting longer for our checks than it took for the food to be ordered, cooked, served, eaten to ask for the check the manager didn't act like she cared and shrugged it off as a busy night while understaffed. Trust me it was not very busy and if they were understaffed why were there enough waiters/waitresses that you could have a few of them just chillin talking with the manager. We don't expect high service but we expect more than having it take so much time to even talk to our waiter especially with food issues. Not to mention there was an extra drink on the bill and the meal my sister was trying to place to go for her husband who couldn't make it there was forgotten about by them until we were ready to leave and only then did they try to take the order after asking my sister to wait when she tried to order it the first time. I don't share this to be rude but I feel like with some honest feedback you can improve these things and help support your waiters more, be it through training or sufficient staffing. The food was pretty good with a decent price, besides for my mom's food which had issues but being it was her birthday her'sshould've been done right... It was our first time there as a family, we enjoy getting together for good Mexican food on birthdays and other occasions. I can't speak for my family but I'm not sure I'd go back...

Fast and friendly service. I came in at noon on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Our drink order was taken immediately and our food came out very quickly! I ordered the Pollo Special. Great taste, great portions, 10/10 recommend. The cheese dip also tastes amazing here. The waitress was very friendly.

The worse service I have has in years. The server was rude, inattentive. Even with the lack of attentiveness, he had to audacity to tell my daughter not once, but 3 times she had to wait and could not take a to go order from her. The manager was just as rude. The chips tasted like they were stale and my food tasted spoiled. I will never ever waste my money on this place again.
