Lived here for 3 years and loved every minute of it. I loved my apartment, the area is beautiful and historical. Management office team is prompt and customer-service driven. Neighbors and their pets are lovely. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Beautiful! And I do not have sound issues...I also have the best maintenance crew who put up with our numerous window blind issues due to our beloved fur baby kitties. Thank you all. I feel like we are family and the maintenance boys are exceptional. No noise. No stomping neighbors above us. No barking dogs. Absolutely beautiful apt ..so watch my reviews about Pacific Mills...I'm gonna probably have my apt featured in a trendy magazine...I can only hope...*smile*

I have loved living here! I've been living in Building 8 for over 3 years now and these lofts are beautifully renovated with high end finishes and appliances. The common spaces are great- nicely decorated and equipped. They are used by the community but never crowded.
The leasing office staff is the best I've ever had in a rental building and they bend over backwards to respond to tenant maintenance issues, concerns and requests.
Any issue I've had has been with other residents not picking up after themselves or parking illegally... but never with the facility or management staff here at Pacific Mills Lofts.
I do hope they figure out how to provide some visitor parking. That's the only thing missing in this densely populated residential location.

I absolutely love living in Pacific Mill Lofts and call it home. After selling the home in which we raised our children for 20 years, we moved from place to place looking for that special place that would feel like home again. We found it here. I have read the other reviews. This is urban living. If you want an assigned parking space, you should rent in a suburban location. But if you want industrial beauty and a loft building that has been expertly renovated, visit Pacific Mills and see it for yourself. We find the management company to be caring and responsive. My husband is in frail health and they couldn't be more aware of that, more supportive. I love the gym and the other amenities, including the library. The gym is full of new equipment. For those who complain, join a muscle bound weight lifting gym, that's not what these are meant to be. The equipment is well maintained, as are the common areas and the lofts. I have lived many places, I love it here and will stay here for a long time.

Yeah, so you can hear everything going on in your next-door-neighbors apartment. It's so bad that it really ruins anything cool about living here. You can hear every word in their conversations, what TV show they are watching, if they're cooking or washing dishes, and every step they take.
It would be nice to be able to watch TV or listen to music without worrying about disturbing my neighbors late at night.
The most frustrating part is that the leasing agent told me that noise isn't an issue living here. Be warned!! It was never this bad anywhere else I've lived.

We've lived here for just over a year and absolutely love the place. The staff always welcomes us by first name and are always friendly. The amenities are great. The gym, game room, theater, dog grooming area, library and clubhouse are always clean and very inviting. It is nice to have everything inside one building. There are even storage units within the building as well. The apartments offer great views of the city and it is very quiet. We love the old wood of the mills and adds to the charm of the building. There are plenty of cameras to keep everything protected. With easy access to all the major highways, it is a great location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful apartment complex with plenty to do.

We are currently living at pacific mill lofts, an only 3 months into our lease and there is so much we wish we knew before moving in cause we would not have chosen this place to live. When I came in for a tour we were only able to see the model apartment and were told it was nothing like the apartment we would be moving into. Only thing that was the same was the appliances.. so why show anything. We were not able to see the apartment we would be moving into until we put a deposit down and the tenants were completely out so only about a week before we moved in. One of my big concerns before moving in was making sure the walls were fairly thick since I have a baby and had noise issues at our last apartment. I asked Todd when he gave us the tour about noise complaints and he said they never get noise complaints, and that the walls were thick and build well. Well that was a lie, because the first night we moved in someone was having a party and we heard music blasting well past midnight, we hear the person above us awake what seems to be all night stomping around, and neighbors running, banging, and talking like if there in the same apartment as you. Another issue.. the floors! When I came in for a tour they initially only had one apartment available and this apartment had bamboo flooring (as shown in the model apartment), they found out that same day that they would have another apartment available for the same move-in day that was a little bigger with the original flooring. Everyone in the leasing office talked up the original flooring and how nice it was and me looking for a bigger apartment than my last I went with it. After living in the apartment only a few days I regretted the decision and unfortunately there was no turning back. The original flooring has cracks between almost all of the boards, socks and clothes will randomly get stuck when walking, and everything will fall into the cracks and of course my sons little fingers fit perfectly. Another issue.. PARKING. Moving in and coming for a tour you see all the parking, and you get told about the parking in the back and as of right now yes, you can find a spot but it will be tight unless you get one of the bigger ones and there are not many of those. They also tell you there is no visitor parking but you will see plenty of cars without parking passes and when you tell the leasing office you will get told you can park under the bridge in the back if there is not parking. Mind you a 25 year old woman with a child walking at night and there being over a dozen of homeless people on drugs under that bridge.. THEY ARE OUR OF THEIR EFFING MINDS! And to add to all that, tenants cars have gotten broken into at night not even in the back parking lots so make sure your cars are ALWAYS locked and nothing valuable in them. With the new buildings and apartments opening soon there will be some garage parking with a fee, but currently I am being told the waitlist is very long and once the new tenants start to move in there will be less parking spots even in the back.
I can go on I swear forever.. but the last big issue we have been having is the windows/ brick walls. Brick walls look so nice until you have to vacuum and sweep every day because of all the debris that fall from it. I’ve asked maintenance about it and all they said was that it was in the lease and nothing can be done about it. (Image below)
So please before thinking of moving to pacific mills read the reviews, ask currently tenants how they like it and feel, and do not believe everything the leasing office says. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

The history of the building is awesome - living in an old mill from the 1880s. Management did an excellent job showcasing the history of the building, the artifacts, and the details. Sam and the leasing team were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure I had an excellent stay. From moving in, to when I would leave town on business, to work orders, to moving out, they were most helpful. There is a fair amount of construction, but Sam and the team do an excellent job of keeping tenants informed about changes or disruptions. The amenities are nice and the parking isn't bad (I never had a problem finding a space). I knocked it down one star because the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors (I talked with others who lived in other mills around the areas and they had the same issue, too, so it's not just Pacific Mills. Overall, it was a great place to live and I would do it again!
