Texas Roadhouse

This is one of the best steak places in Lawrence for dining. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Special thanks should go to Austin who helped us at the table. We got a chance to dine there for dinner and the place was super busy but we didn't have to wait for long. I highly recommend this place and really loved the Texan atmosphere there.

I like Texas Roadhouse. I love the fresh hot rolls and peanuts while you’re waiting for your entree. Our drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. 3 stars because of two things. It was really almost obnoxiously loud. I ordered my steak medium rare and it can clearly rare. Purple and cool in the middle. I should’ve sent it back but I didn’t. I’ll go back but I’ll order medium next time and pick my seating better.

I am editing my review on Texas Roadhouse because I feel they are redeeming themselves. Not only on accuracy but also on taste. Occasionally they may forget something or over cook your steak somewhat but they have really turned things around over there 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I have had really good food the last few times I’ve been!

This place is amazing! I took my teenage son there tonight to celebrate how well he’s doing in school. I’ve never been to a restaurant with this amazing of service before. They gave us a very sweet and generous first-timer welcome. The woman helping us was very quick and attentive, and the food was perfect - even for me, who doesn’t eat much meat these days. The welcome letter wasn’t kidding on those rolls! So good 🤤. They even gave us a few extra to take home. Above all that, they provided enough food that even my teenage son who eats nonstop recently was full for the rest of the evening. Thank you so much for helping me treat him to a fun evening and delicious meal, in honor of how hard he’s been working. We’ll be back! 💕

I always love the food they serve. The wife and I get steak and it is always cooked to order. The flavor is consistent and delicious. The staff tonight was especially attentive and welcoming. Our waitress even ran our leftovers that we forgot at the table to us. My only regret is that I didn't have any more cash for a larger tip than we gave her.

I forgot why I quit getting steaks to go at Texas Roadhouse, but I remember now. I literally live 5 minutes away from this place, and I will never for the life of me figure out how when I order my steak or prime rib RARE, I get home with well done meat. EVERY TIME. I am not gonna forget this again! The sides are great-all good. And the 2 prime ribs I ordered tonight tasted OK...for well done. Oh, and being well done-it was tough to chew.

Oh, let me see... Start with free endless peanuts and free endless oh so yummy yeast rolls with cinnamon butter... 12 Oz perfectly seasoned Ribeye steak, loaded baked potato, salad.... heck, there's room for dessert, but when you want some they've got come great ones. That's just my preferred meal, there's so much more good food there. The staff really cares about the customer too. The owner/manager comes by your table every time you're in to make sure you're happy. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but you can call ahead and get in line, and believe me, the wait is worth it!!!
