Waffle House

My first ever experience and I absolutely loved it. Down south homestyle cooking. I'm from L.A. and we don't have a Waffle House so it meant everything to experience a Mississippi based Waffle House. I couldn't believe that despite all the food my wife and I ordered the bill was tremendously inexpensive. The waitress was so sweet as well. I can't wait to go back!

One of the hash browns didn't have onions like we ordered, the employees were busy complaining, they should have took the opinion to the office, the menu was sticky, I even told the waitress they needed cleaning then she yes ma'am but never did it then gave it to the next customer, food was not brought at the same time I guess the cook can only do one meal at time, the waitress was very polite or it would be one star. With all the people that were standing complaining I can tell you 6 things that they could have been doing. One of the worst visits to a waffle house I have had. They stand around instead of waiting on the only two tables that are full.

Excellent service along with a great discount plus the restaurant was very clean & cleaner than I have ever had experienced. the staff was very nice end Pleasant to talk to. I got all this food for like $7 and some change ha I can find that outside in their parking lot. A "waffle house' Road Trip" is on my bucket list.

I ordered an allstar special with sausage, eggs add cheese, grits, raisin toast, and a waffle with chocolate chips. When i got my food, they made hash browns instead of grits. I accepted it and just asked the girl for some ketchup for my hashbrown. Its ok. People make mistakes, i thought. Then i get home and open my bag and my whole waffle is missing. I am so mad right now. I just got off work from a 10 hour shift and just wanted some food and rest but now i have to eat food that i didnt want as well as make a whole other trip back to town to get my missing waffle. This is ridiculous and inconsiderate. Waffle house management, pleaseTell your employees to triple check orders when the customer orders AND when the food is going back out to the customer. This is just sloppy carelessness and could easily be avoided. Now i have to be awake for another whole hour and needlessly waste my gas going to get my missing food.

Our waitress was super nice. As soon as we sat down another person working there started spouting out all the things they didn’t have. I think our waitress had been out for a bit. They already had a limited menu, but also didn’t have Texas toast, steak, pork chops, and chicken. Possibly because if the icy road situation. Was around 40 degrees outside and about -7 inside. You could literally see your breath. The food was ok. Bathroom was very clean.
