Thai At Laurel

I woke the next day with an upset stomach. Thought I was just being sensitive but when I spoke with the friend I went there with they too had an upset stomach the next day. The taste okay, I have definitely had better Thai food before. Perhaps it was due to the dishes I ordered. Wasn't a fan of their drunken noodles. The rice with chicken was fine.

First time trying their food and probably won't try a second time. We ordered using doordash and were most excited about the $15 non-alcoholic drink mixers of juice you could order. I figured for $15 and no alcohol, the drink would contain enough mixer for 2 people. Despite ordering 3, only 1 arrived since they were out of the other 2 varieties (some restaurants will call the customer when they're out of something and ask about substitutions, but we did not get this option). The quantity came in a small plastic bottle, about the size of a Naked juice bottle, and only half full. Enough for a tiny drink for one, even after adding the requisite booze and ice. Disappointing. We got several appetizers and a few entrees. The only truly tasty things we ordered were the fried wrapped shrimp appetizer and a crispy fried duck entree that was not crispy and in a sauce but still very tasty with good spice. The other 4 items, including a chicken pad Thai were very dull and not notable in flavor. For the price of the items vs what was received, we were definitely bummed. To avoid disappointed customers, I would advise the owners to be clearer about portion sizes of the drink juices, or vastly reduce the cost. Simply not worth. :/

I was not that happy with the food here. I will say the take out was extremely well done with social distancing, and you should try the food. However, I felt the Drunken noodles were way too spicy, the pad thai didn't have that much flavor and was a little bland. I just expected the food to be better. However, I will say the shrimp friend rice was very good. It could be that I just got the wrong things. It is worth a try if you get a chance.

I’ve come here before and have been happy with the food and service. Yesterday I had ordered chicken drunken noodles and I woke up in the worst pain at night with an upset stomach. I just read that others have experienced this as well. My recommendation is to never order the drunken noodles from here again and be careful!!!
