Nando's Peri-peri

I ordered from here a few days ago and the person on the phone was very helpful with answering questions. When I came to pick up my food, I was told I could not get it until I signed a sheet of paper for contact tracing. This was alarming for several reasons, but mainly due to the deceptive tactic they attempted to use to get me to sign. I was on the phone placing my order for 10 minutes and they never said anything about me signing my life away. I find it disrespectful that they wasted my time and allowed me to drive all the way there, just to spring this on me. I feel like most people would have just signed as to not waste their time, but I was so taken back by this that I just walked away without the food. I asked them why they do not inform people about this ahead of time and they could not answer. Had they just been honest and transparent up front and took the time to explain what the paper was and why they require it, I doubt I would have had such a strong reaction and I probably would have even mind. It's the fact that they hid this from me until I arrived and then immediately gave me an ultimatum that I found odd. I'm all for safety and being responsible, but this was inappropriate and disrespectful the way they went about it. I'm also concerned they may have had problems with safety since they're forcing waivers on people. Nope, I'll pass.

We had a wonderful patio dining experience at Nando's. The full platter and peri-peri wings came perfect. The sides: coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fries were equally delicious. The helpful staff was most accommodating and properly cautious with COVID-19 restrictions. They arranged outdoor space heaters as we ate and repeatedly checked on us.

I first enjoyed eating at Nando’s in London and have been such a fan since then but never found one here. I kept telling my husband about how good their food is! Then we saw Nando’s on our way back from Toronto but had no time to stop and eat. My husband kept teasing me by saying we need to go to London to have it! And then suddenly looking at my love for Nando’s he tried to search for it in Philadelphia area and to his surprise found so many of them in Maryland!!! We drove from Philly to eat here and as always the food was so good! The flavors were same, chicken was so well cooked and juicy, wings are the best and thigh skewers were a treat! Coleslaw is the best I have ever had. Lemonade was so fresh as if made from fresh fruits! The interiors are amazing and the music was lovely! Restrooms need to be kept clean. Plenty of Parking available in the area. I hope they open in Philadelphia also!

Sometimes you go places and employees tend to forget they are the representative of a business and not the owner or decision maker on what foods need to be prepared. The manager Sandra has a tight grip on her team and the image her location has. 5 Stars solely to her and her positive interaction with me and every customer I saw her with last night.
