Diamond Eight Billards Cafe

I used to frequent this place often, but over the years it has really gone downhill. I've been there twice in the past few months. The place was completely dead both times - one of which was a Saturday night, and one of which was a karaoke night. What really turned me off though, was how we were discouraged from ordering food, I believe because the bartender was also manning the kitchen (same bartender both times). Although a very nice person, she made us feel awkward at best for ordering food. One person in my group said, "Aw, I feel bad," after she had taken our order and left to make it and another said, "Um, don't, that's her job." Then of course our drinks were neglected for long periods of time while she was in the kitchen. Perhaps don't offer food if you're not able to afford hiring someone to cook it. I'm not a business owner myself, and I'm not sure what the problem here is exactly, but I would like to come back again if some changes are made. I have had some fond memories in the past.

Shittiest place ever ! Everything is dirty, the bar staff is to worried about singing in the kareoke then serving customers, we waited for over five minutes to cash out our pool stuff, AND GOT CHARGED WHILE WE WAITED. And when I said we've been waiting and shouldn't be charged the extra time she said " well there's only one of me everyone has to wait" she didn't like when I explained how we shouldn't have to pay extra to wait she rudely walked away " yelling have a good night " Horrible service horrible bar, disgusting. Stay far far away
