This is one of our favorite restaurants - the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. My husband enjoys their vindaloo and there is an extra spicy sauce they will give you on the side if you request it. Order over the phone and pay cash when you pick up to save some money!

I went there for dinner. I called them prior to check if dine in was available or not, they said Dine in is available. After reaching there No welcome no nothing, it wasn’t that busy either. After a while a guy at counter came and took order. The best part is they brought food on disposable. What? Are you kidding me? You meant to say you don’t have real utensils to serve food ? I don’t care How tasty your food is unless you know basics of restaurant etiquette, it’s not good. Not going again.

Love the quality and taste of the food! We had a large order for work, which got messed up causing a long delay. The staff were very eager to fix the order. 1 star off as the organization and management was quite off center. But I would go back and it was not a deal breaker.

Loved the food at one point so much I would order 2-3 times/week. Now the food is always poor quality when I order (used to always be fresh) Rice is always hard and clumpy (ew) the lamb Rogan Josh and tandoori chicken used to have so much flavor. Now they’re always bland, just spicy af with no flavor. Lamb tikka the past few times was dry and hard as a rock. Now I order every now and then in hopes y’all will get it right smh

This location is my second choice for local Shelmar. The food is so goood! I say second location because there is different locations in the cap region ran independently. Always when I order from here the chicken tikkka masla is always upmost consistent with its creamy flavor and texture. I’m raving over this review as eating left overs from our take out from last night. Also there garlic stuff nanns are delicious! We tried shrimp tiki masla for the first time which was also a 10/10. I simply love this food.

Incredible chicken Tikka Masala. Just enough spices and very flavorful. I was blown away by the creaminess and tenderness of the chicken with curry. I will definitely be coming back here again soon for more.

They used to have good food but now everything is super stale. We ordered chilli chicken and it felt like it was made weeks ago. Hard like a rock, couldn’t even chew. Their chicken tikka masala is the worst. The sauce looked disgusting as if the cream was expired or something, ewwwww never again!!!!!

I called ahead. They told me they were busy but they’d save a table for me. I got there and there was one table left. Good thing I called ahead.
Sunday buffet was delicious. The usual dishes but done well. There were quite a few to choose from.
One problem the rice was cold. When someone came over I mentioned this. He looked over at the rice, noticed that the sterno for the rice was missing and took care of it immediately. Thanked me for pointing it out.
