Zaitoon Kitchen

I was in town and starving. I wanted some good food and not a chain. Found this gem and was so happy with the outcome. The wait which is a bit longer than usual is worth it once you taste your food. I chose the chicken kabob wrap. The chicken was very tender and savory. The sauce was delicious although next time I’ll ask for a bit less. Overall very fresh and amazing taste.

Cute little spot, and the food was great. I would recommend getting the chicken skewers, and everything was fresh and quick. The dips could have used a bit more salt (they were a little bland), and the bread is from a bag but is warmed up. I would actually highly recommend the desserts - the lemon blueberry cake is one of the best cakes I've ever had, and I'd drive 4 hours back here for that cake.

Was visiting Albany for a day last weekend and had a chance to give Zaitoon Kitchen a try since it was very close to our hotel and not too far from the airport. Ordered via Grubhub and arrived about 10-15 minutes later to give them a call directly when I was at the front door. Given the current situation they actually bring the food out to the table or hand it to you directly by the entrance. Overall the process was quite smooth and efficient, I had to wait extra few minutes since I arrived bit early but they still have the food out for me well before the original quoted time. The Falafel salad was absolutely phenomenal, really crispy falafels fits quite well with the bed of greens and chopped onions. The wrap was quite nice as well but I thought the beef was a bit too salty, however its quite tender and juicy. Overall the prices I thought could be better but given the establishment of the place I could see how its a bit more premium. Definitely great food though and I'm happy to know next time I visit Latham area would definitely be giving this place another well deserved visit.

Greatest joint for Afghani food. Chicken kabab is super tender and juicy, beef kabab is sensational. Only thing I would change is the naan, and the meat/rice ratio is a little off, but aside from all that everything is phenomenal. Best part about it was that u don't feel bloated afterwards. The white sauce is AMAZING, would definitely reccomend to anyone.
