Frijoles And Frescas

Great local place for tacos! However, consistency is key! This was my second visit. On the first visit...everything was fresh and amazing. Today not so much. I ordered taquitos at both visits and the first time, they came with cheese, lettuce and guacamole (beautiful). This time, no cheese, no guacamole...just lettuce thrown on top. This is a sure fire way to get people to not come back. Consistency. The small street tacos are good. I will give it another shot and hope for the best. Why is mediocre the norm these days?

Excellent tacos! It's in a strip mall (this is Vegas - what *isn't* in a strip mall?), and is big, bright, cheery, with lots of seating. And boy howdy, are the tacos good. Note, when I say "good", I don't mean in the "generalized tacos" sense - these are just plain excellent tacos that would be at home in a CDMX corner. So yeah, enjoy these!

The proportions in the tacos and burritos here are awesome and the meat used is cooked and seasoned very well too! With so many locations opening up around town, you would do yourself a favor by stopping into your local shop and give them a try! I get 3 tacos every time because I cannot pick a favorite between chicken, shrimp, and carne asada. Their asada fries are true contenders with roberto's too! Their agua frescas are fresh, not too sweet, and completely refreshing.

This place is one of our favorite places to eat! As many times as we have been here I keep forgetting to leave a review. We have tried almost everything on the menu and my favorites are the carne asada platter, carne asada tostada, elote and strawberry/pineapple fresca! The food is consistent and a good place to get a meal for a decent price. My husband likes their chicken taco combo and quesadillas. It can get busy on Friday night so we try to get there early. This establishment is closed on Sunday so make sure you come during the week or Saturday. You can order and take out as well. Make sure you try their salsas as they are pretty tasty. Plenty of frescas to choose from and also ask for the bean choices. Don't worry about parking as there is plenty of spaces.

Fist time on this restaurant, very clean, well kept and organized. Staff is very friendly and kind. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and was good, not the kind you'll get on a upscale Mexican restaurant but still very tasty and well prepared. I look at other dishes and seemed really good, for sure will be back to try more of their food. The fruit juices are really good, great option instead of high calories sodas. Overall good place for a quick bite.
