Service was okay. We were served one main dish much earlier than the other, which was unexpected and not a good vibe overall. First dish was getting cold by the time the fried rice was being served.
In my opinion, the Mongolian beef Chow mein I ordered was lacking in flavor. The other dishes we ordered were ok, but also somewhat lacking in flavor.
The dining area was bright, and had a small cafeteria feel. Very casual.
The food is good. Highly recommend the Hainan chicken rice and wonton. The Hainan chicken is tender and delicious. It doesn’t taste exactly like the Singapore ones but a very good chicken indeed. Wontons are big and filled with shrimps.
In terms of service…it was ok. They got my order wrong and looked really pissed when I corrected them. The owner/manager especially looked very angry as if it was my fault. But whatever, the food was good so I’d continue to go!
Best Hainanese chicken in town. Boneless and tender. Coconut rice needs a little more olive oil to make it perfect. Otherwise, just enjoy.
Food is super authentic and tasty, I would definitely come back. The only complaint is the porttion is really small. If you eat a lot, probably need to order more, and its not cheap here.
Noodles soup are good, portions a little small for the price you pay. Quite good if you’re looking for something soothing.
Fast and absolutely delicious - small but authentic. I had the chicken with noodles and a super delicious broth. My family had shrimp wonton soup. also drinks here are good to order. Highly recommend.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at 88 Noodle Papa, and I must say, I was blown away by the food. As someone who has lived in New York City and now resides in Tampa, Florida, I've had my fair share of Asian cuisine, but 88 Noodle Papa's Hong Kong-style dishes were on another level.
My group and I ordered Fish Congee, preserved Egg and pork congee, Hainan Chicken rice with the dark meat addon, and braised pork knuckle. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The congee was a standout - it was so authentic and delicious that it brought back memories of the fantastic congee I used to have in NYC. The Hainan chicken was also delicious, and the braised pork knuckle was a real treat.
Overall, I highly recommend 88 Noodle Papa to anyone who appreciates authentic and delicious Asian cuisine. Don't knock it until you try it~ this restaurant is a must visit when you come to Vegas!
Hainanese chicken and curry laksa is so good. HK style milk tea is ok, Service was good, and the waiter spoke Cantonese. recommending this restaurant.
Came here specifically for the hainanese chicken rice but also ordered other items. The hainanese chicken is really good but the rice is lacking a bit of flavor. The garlic scallion oil sauce is also very good. The wonton noodles was good as well. The laksa was okay.
Update: came here last night with a friend.
We ordered:
1.) Hunan Chicken & Rice. We both enjoyed especially because they de-bone the chicken great move by the kitchen 👍🏻
2.) Crab Rangoon nice fried
3.) Citrus Honey tea nice on cold days.
Parking lot has spaces but is very busy.
Took my Bosses here and they liked everything!
We ordered Steamed Ginger Chicken, combination bowl #7, Wonton soup, Chinese Porridge, Salted Steam Chicken, Jelly fish appetizer and pickled Zucchini.
Nicely seasoned and very tasty.
