Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I'm going to give credit where credit is due. This Olive Garden is still on par with old Olive Garden. The chain used to be one of our favorites but the quality had degraded so badly that we just stopped eating there about five years ago. It wasn't that it wasn't good; it was genuinely bad and I'm referring to the food, service & overall experience. During that time we moved to NV and there are so many great restaurants here that eating there wasn't even on our radar. What brought us back? My wife and I were out for a date night and were reminiscing about how much we used to enjoy the soup and salad and the bottomless pasta. We were seeing a movie nearby and decided to eat there for the sake of nostalgia. It turned out to be a great experience. The food was well prepared, the service was excellent and the overall experience was a great flashback to the glory years of the OG for us. I will say that the chain as a whole has done me dirty enough times that I won't visit other locations but I will visit this one for the soup and salad and bottomless pasta. The chain hasn't won us back but this location has.

So, for context, I only eat the all you can eat soup and salad here. It's still a great value at $10 and today I ate a full bowl of salad and 2.5 soups. I have always loved their salad and dressing and today was no differently. Also today I got the gnocchi soup as it's rich and creamy and delicious. I don't eat anything else here cause last time I did I didn't feel I got a good value of food for the money, this is primarily pasta and sauce, right ? However, for the health and budget conscious you simply can't go wrong with the AYE soup and salad for lunch or dinner.

Great Saturday lunch experience with great service and food as we expected. Kicked off with complimentary bread sticks and we ordered the artichoke dip that went well with chips. The house salad was crunchy and dressings tasteful. The pitcher of berry Sangria was a great shareable lunch drink. Main course had the spaghetti meatballs with meat sauce, fettuccine alfredo with side on the side and cheese ravioli. Good serving portions. Stephanie our server was great with the orders. Plenty seating.. and nice ambience.

My family & I went for a dinner at the location W Charleston near the Pavillion Center. Amazing customer service. Overall I love my server TINA! She is awesome & she always put a smile on your face.😊 I love her positive energy. Always checking on you how's everything. I will definitely go back again & ask for Tina as our server. Bless her heart. Shout out to TINA!!!

Dined in, and the food and service was good but the take home pasta I ordered (fettuccine Alfredo) was plain noodles (no sauce), which I only realized when I got home. Update: the manager reached out and was apologetic, which I appreciated. It was an honest mistake and they rectified it. Would dine again here.
