Very fancy bathrooms for a dim sum place. Some guy was having a medical emergency in one of the two stalls so it smelled like rotten sewage. Dim sum comes quick so eat fast and leave so other people can inhale their food and leave. They have the traditional dim sum selections and a couple twists. Very fast service.
Chinese customer service is definitely in play here, but that's just how they roll. Don't take it personally. Coming up from South Padre Island, we have nothing like this other than in Austin.. Regular pushcart dimsum service and it's gosh darn tasty!! Very large tea room with fairly large tables. The prices are a bit steep, but Joe did that.. My Extremely Better Half isn't a fan of dimsum, she loved it. I found the egg custard tarts beyond delicious.. This establishment is for locals, so you know its good.
Have been coming to the Orchids Garden at least once a year if not twice. Food has been consistent, and the cleanliness of the place has improved after the pandemic. Just like all the Chinese restaurants that have good food and business, they’re always a bit noisy since they’re very popular local dim sum place with good value. One big improvement I noticed is that they used goose neck tea pot nowadays and the dinnerwares are obviously replace so quite new. Will frequent here more..
I've never been in a Chinese restaurant that walked around with carts of food that you can take off and enjoy. Fresh hot food. The sugarcane shrimp was Amazing. Will definitely be back..
In A Nutshell:
-Orchids Garden is an all day dim sum restaurant.
-That's pretty cool, but it fit into the lifestyle of Vegas.
-The dim sum is good, you get three pieces of each dish.
-I always enjoy going to dim sum restaurants that still push carts around allowing you to gander & choose which items you want to put into your mouth.
-It's HK style, which makes it authentic & fun.
-The restaurant is very big inside so if you come w/ a big party hungry for dim sum this is a great pick.
-The prices aren't too bad either.
Overall, this is a popular dim sum restaurant & it's worth stopping by if you are in the mood for good dim sum in an lively environment.
I used to really love this place. The people working here seem tired. The dim sum was average at best. Expensive.
I was craving dim sum and decided to check out this place. It was really good. Super packed but we didn’t wait too long. The fried shrimp balls were delicious. Didn’t get a photo of them but highly suggest those.
I love dim sum, so it was nice to find a place that serves it all day. There was a nice variety of items. It's best to check the options near the register because some of the wait staff don't speak English very well and some have many items on their trays.
The food was very good and we all enjoyed it. The tea was also first rate. The prices were a little high and came to about $25 a person (isn't dim sum supposed to be cheap?). Still I will definitely go there again.
If you’re looking fir a Dim Sum restaurant in Las Vegas then this is the place. Food is delicious and price is reasonable. Nice decor inside and by the reception area. Always packed, so plan on arriving early. You won’t get disappointed with their food.
I highly recommend this place.

The best and most authentic all day dim sum restaurant in town. Been going to this place for years. They also have an a la carte menu which is just as good. Well rounded Chinese restaurant.
