The food was great we had the Louisiana crab cakes🦀, Seafood chowder🦀🦞🦐, and Big Al's Pan Roast.
The food very well Blended and seasoned well and the flavor was great everything was served hot not lukewarm I appreciate the attention the server at first it started off mediocre but it did pick up and became a pleasant experience.

It was so much food we had to take some back home to our Airbnb I do recommend going here food was great the atmosphere was Lively you are in the casino so just to let you know and afterwards you can go catch a movie in the casino or go do your thing

Arrived at Big Al’s oyster bar about 45 mins before closing. I knew we weren’t super hungry and if they seated us we would be fast! I promised and they accommodated us. We already knew what we wanted so shortly after we were seated we place our order with the waitress.
The Louisiana crab cakes were chock full of crab with each bite and the creole mustard sauce wasn’t overwhelming. We liked it so much we ordered 2! The salad was also full of crab meat with nice crunchy bacon hidden under the mound of crab. We requested ranch for our salad dressing and luckily it was on the side or I think the salad would have been swimming in the ranch. And finally the chowder…I’m reminiscing about the seafood chowder as I write this. You get clams, shrimp, crab and fish in this bowl. It is a hearty, tasty soup and surprisingly not at all salty! I saw the table next to us with the New England chowder and it looked thick and rich so I’m glad we opted for the seafood chowder. Good food and at great prices! The atmosphere is ok. It’s located in the Orleans which is an older, off strip property. Don’t expect the glitz and glamour of the strip properties here. It no frills and showing its age.

The soups were good, but the seafood needed to be cleaned better. Some small amount of grit. Some seafood chewy. Flavor great, loved the bowl and the flavor of the food. Crab cakes were good

Great food with speedy service 👌 the Shrimp Rosa was unbelievably delicious and let's talk about the HUGE portions. That made u for the $26 price. I also tried the oysters 😋 half dozen was 16 dollars a little overpriced for vegas standards and large selections. Overall had a great experience Food was 9/10. Portions 10/10
Flavor was 10/10. Service 9/10

This is a must go me and my wife go here. Whenever we come down for anniversary, we love it. We have brought lots of people to come in and enjoy it with us. And they do the same now every time they're down. Highly recommend can't wait till the reopen after the remodel.

Love Big Al's, if you sit at the counter they make your food right in front of you. Very friendly chefs, it's like a sushi bar but it serves Csjun food. Everything is always very fresh delicious. We vist Big Al's whenever we are in Vegas. Great lunch place. Also. Very friendly inexpensive casino.

As good as it ever was!! We've been coming to Big Al's for years. Having not been to Vegas though since 2018, this trip was checking out our favorite places. We're so happy to see Big Al's is as good as ever. How can anyone resist their Chowder?!! We loved it. Thank you Big Al's.... we'll be back!!

Big Al's Oyster Bar at The Orleans provided us with a great lunch experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh shucked oysters and the delicious shrimp po' boy. The oysters Rockefeller were also a highlight. The freshly baked bread delivered to our table was absolutely delicious. The only minor drawback was that the oysters could have been rinsed a bit more before serving. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Big Al's.

We got food to go and bring back to our room since we have 2 kids 5 and under. Ordered the Seafood chowder, umm yum! It was to die for. I only wish I knew how much we'd get. I order two sour dough bowls and we got two large sealed containers enough to feed 4 people if each got seconds. We were also able to order the half shell Rockefeller oysters since they are steamed. Delicious. The bartender who helped was extremely polite and helpful when ordering. Made sure we had silverware too. Sadly the rooms had no refrigerator so we couldn't save what we could not finish and that was a lot! Try it for sure, prices are very reasonable.

Al's Oyster Bar is conveniently located near the center of The Orlean's Casino where Table games are played, on one side of the restaurant. Then, on the other side you have Slot machines chirping, ringing and a'huffin'an'a'puffin' away. Al's is not walled up but has a fence with tables along side that separates the inner Bar and booths. The Host(ess) greets you and directs you inside. On 11/27/21, (9 days ago) my wife and I went for lunch. Our Waiter was a courteous, smiling man who politely tended us. His name is MANNY. OUR BILL amounted to almost $80 and because Manny was very ATTENTIVE, We handed him 2 Sawbuck notes (TIP). He smiled gratefully.
Later that same day, at about 9pm, we went back for more. Why⁉️ Glad you asked‼️ Big Al's Oyster Bar KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE COOKIN', is all. That Evening's Dinner was waited in by a beautiful little Gal named MERCEDES. She was very busy but just like Manny, we were taken care of as if we were the Owners. We had ALASKAN KING CRAB LEGS, Oysters, Clam Chowder, Crab Louie Salad, H🔥T Sliced butter bread, and wine. Our Tab was about $80 as it was at lunch. We also handed Mercedes 2 Sawbuck Notes and a hearty THANK YOU.
Twice in one day was worth it. Trust me for once.

Me and my husband really enjoyed Our dinner. I had the oysters Rockefeller and he had the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp with rice. I've been craving oysters for a while and decided to try Big Al's. We're from Alabama but we'll definitely be back to try something else. Yall try them it's a must!
