Steak 'n Shake

First time here in a long time. Ordering process has changed to order at kiosk. The attendant was nearby to help out in our ordering process. The food came out quickly. It was hot and good. It was made the correct way. Fries were delicious. The kids grilled cheese was good and big. Milk shake was perfect. The ice tea was only ok. We were checked on my the attendant to make sure everything was ok. The restaurant is very clean. The workers all seemed pleasant. I'll come back again for sure.

$5.99 for large chili and can't get crackers even when u ask. And $2.69 for onion rings that look like this! That works out to $.60 per onion ring that we got! Asked for extra butterfinger in shake and got charged for it but didn't get extra of anything. Wow! Haven't been happy with the last few stops. May never be back!

The burgers are delicious! Milkshakes are absolutely yummy! The downside is they no longer have table service, you place your order on kiosk and pay. The restaurants are nice and clean, cutely decorated but you lose personal touch. You can see the cooks preparing the meals but you no longer have the personal interaction and I miss that

Was my first time to a Steak 'n Shake ,upon entering was greeted my Julia...she helped to us maneuver the self serve kiosk, she placed our order which ready quickly and while we sat and ate our delicious burger ,fries ,rings and shakes she checked on us to ensure we were satisfied. Julia even let us know she was going on break and wanted to see if we needed anything else before she did. We were totally impressed with the service Julia gave , the quality of the food and the super cleanliness of the restaurant, we will definitely be returning and send a big thank-you to Julia.

Love the new system!! Fast service and it’s fresh made just how it’s ordered!! Since Steak ‘n Shake has always been known for their great food and they’re incredibly slow wait staff I wholeheartedly feel like this new I’m “no waitstaff system” is the saving grace to the restaurant. We like it so much that we call and ask the restaurant prior to going in if they have this new system. I know that it has won my family back!

My husband and I order from this location about every other week. I use the app to order and my food is ready pretty quickly. I haven’t used the kiosks inside but I have seen employees very willing to help people with their orders. Norma is the absolute sweetest person. She’s there almost every time I go in. She always has a smile on her face and makes me feel truly valued. The rest of the staff always says hello and makes sure I’m being taken care of. I’ve never had a problem with my order and food always tastes great.

I am so happy its open again. We injoy the food and ice cream drinks. What we don't like how dirty it is. The entry has a terrible smell .The floor is filthy the window in and out need cleaning, even the chairs need a good cleaning. They have down time I am sure someone can clean. Haft the restaurant then the other haft. This restaurant is #284. Thank You
