Roosterfish Grill

This place is a fantastic owner operated restaurant in Largo, FL. I found it on the recommendation of the hotel clerk where I was staying, that was over a year ago. It never fails to satisfy me. The staff is great, always personable, and make it an enjoyable visit. As for the food, I have never been disappointed. The seafood is always fresh and the portions are generous. My "Go-To" dishes are the Oysters Rockefeller, Ahi Tuna, and Crab Cakes for the appetizers. As for entrees, the Grouper Oscar, Shrimp and Grits, and Mussels over Linguini are my staples.

The service and food here is excellent. Went in for lunch, they have a great early bird menu.I rarely order fish in restaurants, a friend of mine from Coolermax took me here and told me they always have the freshest food and he was right. I had the stuffed tilapia and it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We (3 family members) ate here in Jan of 2022. Dishes were fresh and delicious. We ate a lot there. Price is really affordable.  Garlic Oysters, Chowder, Mahi, Grouper Oscar were all fresh and good. In particular, Full Ahi Appetizer was really excellent. This is a sort of Americanized sushi restaurant but remains authentic.

What a lovely experience. I'd like to commend Mike our server. Definitely one of the best servers bar none. You also get a frequent diner club buy 8 get one 1. Make sure to ask for it. 4 dollar margaritas and endless fish and chips. The clam chowder was tasty and the liver and onions was delightful. Great experience that did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
