Tonight a friend and I checked out this cute little German restaurant close to our house! We are so happy that we found this place! The service was great, the food was delicious and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. We had the Pork roast dinner which was absolutely tender and delicious, the brown gravy went very well with it along side mash potatoes and the red cabbage. (Forgot to take a picture we ate it so fast) 😅🍽. We also had their Black Forest cake and a yummy slice of cheese cake. We will definitely be back and highly recommended you check it out if you’re in the area.

Quaint little resturant, superb quality authentic German food. We found this restaurant via Google maps while passing through. We were able to call and get a reservation. The service was friendly and they were eager to answer any questions about the menu. The food was delicious. Our meals also came with fresh bread and cole slaw. I highly recommend this resturant.

This is a must go resturant! It is authentic food, the live music is great, friendly! You will feel like yoy are at your German relatives house having dinner. I was soooo happy, I was giddy inside. I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived. There was a sign that said reservations high suggested and I would definitely agree with that. We were able to wall in and sit but just by sheer luck. The food are large portions but oh sooooo good! You could probably share a dish and be fine. Bread, herbed butter and slaw come with every entrée like an appetizer. There were 5 of us so we ordered 2 appetizers and couldn't stop eating. The flavors, taste and texture were amazing. Our food came and our eyes got bigger and we just kept trying all the food and there was NOTHING we didn't LOVE. I have been craving some German food and this totally hit the spot!!!

Absolutely delicious. Both servers working were fantastic. We had the potato pancakes, chicken schnitzel, gypsischnitzel, double baked cheese cake and Black Forest cake. Wonderful way to celebrate a birthday.

My wife and live in Spring Hill and for our 11th wedding anniversary we decided to try some place we had not been to before. When we looked online and my wife saw some rave reviews about this restaurant so we decided to take a chance and make the drive all the way to Largo to check it out. We were so happy we did! This quaint restaurant has amazing authentic German food, great service, and while we were dining a nice older man was playing the accordion and making our anniversary dinner a memorable one. It also happened to be his 85th birthday too! We loved the Schnitzel and Sauerbraten dishes we ordered. The Schpetzel served with each was yummy. I had German potato salad and it is wonderful. Try it warm. My wife got the homemade mashed potatoes with her entree and they were creamy and delicious. Also, we had their potato pancakes for an appetizer. They were very good and we ordered them served with sour cream and apple sauce. The apple strudel and their family recipe cheesecake were sensational for our desserts. If you like real German cuisine, no matter where you live in the Tampa Bay area this is a must place!

Real authentic German food. The family that runs the restaurant is from Munich. The service was great and we were lucky enough to get a table for 2 without a reservation. Everything we ate was so good! Highly recommend this place! Worth every penny!

Unlike a lot of German restaurants, Bistro2 carried my favorite variety of schnitzel, "Schnitzel Holsteiner Art" (topped with fried egg and anchovies). I was going to order that until the waitress told us that one of the daily specials was beef rouladen, which they apparently don’t have every day, and which immediately set my dinner companions drooling. So I started with a potato soup (which I half finished before remembering to take a photo) and had the rouladen with a Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock. The rouladen were wrapped around a pickle with a spicy mustard, very flavorful and tangy (frankly, much more so than I've had at some places closer to where I live). For dessert, I was pleased to see that they had “Black Forest CHERRY cake” (emphasis mine)… The full original name of this dessert is “Schwarzwalder Kirsch Torte”, and that’s literally what it translates to. But many places seem to leave out the “Kirsch” (cherry) part and just call it “Black Forest Cake”, chocolate cake with a whipped cream like icing. But here they did it right, with the layers between the cake filled with liqueur infused cherries everywhere! I inhaled it before I remembered to take a photo, however… As we left I spoke to the waitress and got to employ my favorite German word from my first class in junior high school: “Ausgezeichnet!” (Excellent!) I was only in town visiting friends (who had told me about this place on several previous occasions) for a few days, but I definitely plan to come back when I'm in the area again to try the Sauerbraten & Schnitzel Holstein!

Excellent authentic German food served in a quaint setting and atmosphere that feels like Germany bistros. Can’t rave enough about the food quality and proportions. Family owned and operated. Reservations recommended and currently cash only.
