Starbucks

My biggest complaint with this Starbucks is not the wait, it’s the barristas. Overall they are friendly, but they are completely inconsistent with the coffee. I order the same thing everyday, and have been doing so for years. I can’t say that I have ever had the same consistent coffee. One day it’s too watery, another day the coffee taste burnt, another day they bathed it with creamer, another the temperature is warm and not hot, another too sweet …..And every now and then it comes out perfect, ….can’t figure out how they can’t get it right on a daily basis, especially since the order is simple. 4 shots espresso in a small cup, splash of steamed milk, and one raw brown sugar. That is it pretty simple. Overall, very clean location, a little slow but this is mainly because it’s a busy area. I would give them higher stars if their barristas were all on the same page

As a Starbucks goes, it's nice and functional. The coffee is usually good, unless their slammed, at which point the drinks are usually mediocre because they're trying to rush them out. They do have very, very limited seating indoors. I'd say only about 20 seats. They have more outdoors in a seating area, but it's too dang hot here in Laredo for that. They should have just extended the building to the outdoor area and that would have fit another 20 seats. My main complaint is the parking and drive thru. The planners of this location did a horrible job on the drive thru location. It's always incredibly busy here, and the drive thru backs up into the drive way for the entire shopping complex and creates massive traffic jams. Parking is very tight too, especially if the drive thru is backed up. I recommend parking away from the building and walking over. That way you won't be traffic jammed in for 5-10 minutes when you want to leave.

Horrible service, young kids are not attentive, young girls making the drinks was very rude, she was handing out the drinks while holding the lids with her fingers (COVID)...my Cappuccino contained half drink half foam, it's horrible. Tables outside were very dirty...employees should be required to wear a hairnet for that loose hair

This one girl with curly hair has been so nice to me. Whenever I leave my job in the evening, I go for my average drink and usually get her. After having a long day, no one wouldn’t want to receive horrible customer service as they try to ease their evening. Every time I get her to take my order, I always have a great experience with her. Most importantly a few days ago, her attitude brightened my day after finding out some horrible news. Honestly, I’ve been to many Starbucks around Laredo but I have never experienced this service from any other employee but her. Whoever she is, I hope she knows she’s an incredible employee and makes the best recommendations when you don’t know what to get.
