The burger is good. The fries, tots, onion rings are different story not great for the price. It small and has nice atmosphere. I like the milkshake but not the best. The kids dog was simple

Been Laredo for 5 days and wanted just old fashioned American food. Found this on Google because there is NO WAY to see it from the road. I have drove past here at least 15 times this week and never saw it. HIDDEN GEM. It's tucked away in a strip mall and behind a cute dinner window logo and when you walk in... It's like a little time capsule. We both had burgers and Fry's. Both liked them and they sure filled us up because we wanted milkshakes but NO WAY after that. My burger was good. Better than most burger joints but not a blow your head off juicy mega burger. At 18 bucks plus tip it was average. Sure makes me appreciate 30 burger in Texarkana even more. This is a welcome meal for a NETexas man who is done with Tacos for awhile. Clean, exceptionally friendly and good food. I will come by for breakfast before I leave town... I hope. I recomend it and WILL be back.

I wasn't born in the fiftys, but this diner sure made me feel nice, cozy and back to retro! The staff was nice and attentive, the food was hot, fast to come and delicious! It was also extremely clean, decorative and refreshing. I'd love to share the experience and take my family again, soon!

My daughter and grandkids took me to lunch. We had been there a couple of years ago. We had burgers and shakes last time and it was good. Today I didn't care for the Philly cheese steak. It lacked flavor. It was beef, cheese and tots were cold. The unsweetened tea was very good. The service was great. The atmosphere is wonderful. Overall it's a fun nostalgic place. Just I expected more from the food.

Great hidden gem!! The 50s Diner atmosphere is excellent!! Just came in for an appetizer and a milkshake. I had the loaded fries with shredded chicken. The fries were perfectly cooked and loaded with all sorts of goodies!! Wash that down with a vanilla milkshake with espresso and you got yourself a stellar lunch!! Their burger and tots looked excellent too!! Pat will treat you like family in his establishment!!

It was a good change of pace. All American old fashioned burger joint. Our burgers we're good but nothing over the top. At 12 dollars I expect a flavor explosion. It was double meat bacon with grilled onions and jalapeno peppers. Fries were kinda over done but it was good. I will go back and I'm glad I found it cause it is NOT SEEN from traffic. Up in a strip mall tucked so it's not easily seen. Pretty inside that takes you back in time.

Food and shakes have always been good but I had an uncomfortable experience while I was last there. The manager or owner was training what I presume was a new employee and was being very rude to her when she didn’t understand something. This was happening in front of us while we tried to enjoy our shakes and made it awkward. She didn’t seem to care that we can hear all her rude remarks. It makes sense why they’re hiring still since they’ve always had different employees whenever I go.
