Were in the look out for a mexican restaurant out of lousiana and we found la carreta we stop by to eat here before continuing to our hometown texas the food was great the rice the beans there is no horchata asado or chile verde but theres other great dishes i love the birria consome by itself i try it here sorry but it was toooo salty i understand its ment to be for the tacos but i love it as a soup here are the dishes

Updated menu and food changes. Everything was fantastic, 4 stars because the margarita was 14$ and tasted like watered down mix. Could just be me. I like strong drinks.

The wait staff might as well be family. They are so accommodating that it reminds me of eating at a friend's house! And outside of the occasional lunch rush chaos, I never have to wait more than 2 minutes got service and 5-10 minutes for my meal. Oh, and the foods pretty good too :)

This is the junk that they decided to serve. I ordered my food on 07/08/2021. Thinking that I was in for a tasty treat and when my order arrived, boy was I in for a surprise. I knew I should of went to El Paso and played it safe but I hadn't eaten from here in a while. Definitely won't be back and the customer service is horrible!!!

They turned a basic Steak and Eggs dish into a memorable meal! Also, i really enjoyed their salsa. Great place!
