Cheese and Wine Café is the cutest little spot with an European charm and cozy feel. The tapas menu is diverse, and the wine list in extensive and carefully handpicked by the owner, Justin, that has so much knowledge about wine. He recommended a blend of magliocco and cabernet 2018 Italian wine and it was superb! I, personally, can’t eat cheese but if you’re a cheese lover, there are great cheese boards options to choose from. I’ve tried the escargot with scallion garlic butter and the crab cakes and it was delightful! The food is homemade and tastes super fresh! What a charming and delicious place Cheese and Wine Cafe was! I can’t wait to go back to try more tapas and small plates and discover unique and interesting wine!

Yesterday we decided to check out The Cheese and Wine Cafe in Lantana. There is a municipal parking garage down the block. The owner, Justin, could not have been nicer. The food was delicious. I was a little nervous not knowing the menu, but they have an extensive menu plus daily specials. My husband and I shared the fried goat cheese balls and the escargot, both delicious. We then moved on to the tortellini with truffle oil, also delicious and plenty to share. My husband did enjoy his selection of red wine and said the price was reasonable for the pour. We definitely will be going back. It's a small place and the tables are for two or four guests. They do have a small, I think it was three choices, kids menu.

So elegant and pretty! The owner is incredibly sweet and accommodating. The food is healthy and freshly made. You can tell that the owner has great knowledge on wines! My group went during happy hour, so we were trying many wines and even left with some bottles! Just a great time! Will go again! ❤️

My family was recently staying in Lantana for several months and we were thrilled when we found the Cheese and Wine Cafe. The owner, Justin, is extremely knowledgeable about wine and provides excellent recommendations. We were able to try wines from all over the world, learn more about wines, and we found new favorite wine varieties, especially the wines from Chile and Argentina. The Cheese and Wine Cafe immediately became our absolute favorite place to go, and we would go every week to try new wines, or to buy a bottle of one of our new favorites. Justin is also an excellent chef and serves amazing small plates, tapas, and full course meals. The food is all fresh and home-made, and pairs so well with all the different wines. We tried to make our way through the extensive tapas menu, but the fried manchego, fried goat cheese, and baked brie were our favorites. Justin and his staff are super friendly and helpful too. We recommended this place to everyone we met, and can't wait to go back the next time we are in South Florida. Besides the sunny Florida weather, the Cheese and Wine Cafe is what we miss the most since coming home to Chicago.

What an excellent selection of wines! They do carry local beers as well. My husband enjoyed a local craft from American Craft Aleworks out of West Palm Beach. I loved the HOC Cabernet, which was recommended by Justin. They also have a full menu & cheese boards as well. Justin McSherry took over CWC at the end of 2020 and is in the process of revamping the food and beverage selections. Everything I have seen looks to be a win and I am looking forward to going again. Cheers!
