Giacomo's Pizza

To be fair, Pizza is better then other places in this price range but when the eggplant parm came with barely any sauce, the guy instantly got argumentative & insisted I was wrong & there was plenty sauce on it because “he made it himself”. Just a thought, don’t argue with customers, There’s a million other places in the area that won’t talk to me like I’m an ahole when their the ones that made a simple mistake. It was not that serious.

Stopped in for some square pie. This place is awesome, met Giacomo and the staff. Great people working there, old school Italian local neighborhood joint. It’s like cheers, they knew everyone’s name when they walked in. Our pie was fantastic, we did just the basic cheese. Had good taste in the sauce and a good crunch on the crust. Can’t wait to come back and do a one bite app review of their round pie and also check out their meatball sub. Come check this place out and support your local businesses!

So we decided to try Giacamos last night. We ate in the dining room (I really prefer to eat pizza right out of the oven and not in a box). We had the garlic knots, Giacomos special pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmesan dinner. They make a good pizza that makes the come back list! The knots were good as well, they make a really good meatball too. The sauce is good with a bit of sweetness....I tend to judge a place by there chicken parmesan (it is a classic staple and many places take it for granted) the chicken was a bit well done and a bit tough...I don't think I would get it again, the pasta was ok to good and the Caesar salad was served with packets of dressing. The young server was nice and the the place was a bit hot inside (it was VERY hot out so there is that).

I was born in Boston lived in Manhattan and family from Brooklyn. Since I moved to Florida its been hard to find good pizza. My parents are from Italy and I grew up there and here in the USA. I finally found my spot for the best pizza around. I am picky about food and this place takes me to the food I get back home especially the Sicilian my dad is from Marsala Sicily. Trust a true Italian on this recommendation. If theres any negative reviews dont believe them they just don't know good food and probably eat frozen dinners. Take it from me and make this your number one choice. Giovanni
