I mourned the death of Mac's in 2020, but boy has she risen from the ashes, a glorious Phoenix to behold. It's Mac's--it really is--its back and better than ever. I'm so grateful for this revival and will be worshipping at her altar as often as possible 🤘

I came to see one of my favorite DJs, Skeptic. He's an amazing DJ and I highly recommend checking him out. The Mac is a cool little dive. No cider but that's ok. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. No complaints. I would definitely recommend it!

I've been here years upon years ago and it was a lot of fun and a really good atmosphere.
As of recently since I've returned home I wanted to find a local music venue to go watch some local bands play. Unfortunately the venues I once knew such as the loft have been closed.....I then googled Macs and noticed it's temporarily closed and have been anxiously awaiting it's reopening.
According to the site it's reopening was scheduled for fall 2021 but I'm uncertain if it has reopened at the time of posting as I can't reach the number posted on the site and I haven't seen anything definitely dated on their website.....I hope another good venue doesn't close it's doors permanently as there aren't many places left like Macs and the loft.....they are a huge part of my life and I need them to reopen.
If anyone has any information about there reopening status please let me know. I miss the venue scene a lot and Macs is one of the very few if not last of its kind thats within an hour drive of my location.

This place was a really cool place we went to for great local talent and its everything you want. When you go see a cool show and you want it to just have the feel and atmosphere while your there.

Drive bar for sure but they aren't ashamed of it at all. Saw some amazing stand ups this evening. Location offers an open patio & relaxing atmosphere. Saw some great talent, will definitely go back for comedy nights.

Mac's bar is a cool spot in Lansing to go to for an event. I went to Yolk Fest which was held here this year and I loved it. Just a pink little bar with some nice house specials on drinks and a nice patio to sip your drink outside.
