Probably the best general tso I've had in town. Owner is very friendly, and it's always done fast. Great dumplings as well. Cheap, convenient location, generous portions. What else is there to ask for from your basic, hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout place?

Great late night Chinese food. Inexpensive food, and the ingredients were fresh. The cabbage in the egg rolls was very green. Crab cheese was good. The people taking our order were polite.

This place is open until 2am which is very helpful if you need a restaurant at a late hour. Their menu has a variety of options and definitely worth a try. Located on Michigan Avenue in a convenient location.

Pictured is the vegetable lo mein. Delicious! It was full of flavor, the vegetables were fresh, and the portion size is huge. The staff here are always friendly, the food comes up fast, and hot! Their late hours are a plus as well. What more could you ask for?

Oh, China Flavor...a local staple on the east side. Their food is awesome, no doubt. But the staff consists of two people that rarely will answer your questions. Occasionally, they have a third employee there, but she is worked so hard you can see it in her eyes. The place as a whole isn't exactly clean, though I suppose that isn't necessary with everything being closed.
Their shrimp fried rice is *fantastic*
Just expect a lengthy wait!

I. Love. This place. They have good food and good service, and I always like eating from here if we order Chinese. Their portions are good, and it always arrives nice and hot. My only regret is that we're moving two hours away soon so I won't be able to continue being a patron.

China Flavor is the perfect place for Great tasting American Chinese food. Nothing fancy or pretentious but once you try it, you'll come back for more.
Large portions of the Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken as well as the Shrimp Egg Foo Young are served here with an abundance of rice. A family of 5 can easily share three entrees and be satisfied at an extremely affordable price.
The inside dining area with booths for 4 guests line the walls while several large round tables can seat up to 6 guests. Due to covid 19 I believe it's take out only, however you can sit and wait while your order is being prepared.
