Had the Caesar salad, seafood chowder, and prime in-bone filet mignon with bourbon morel topping. Finished with coffee and lemoncello tiramis6. Everything was phenomenal. Kyle was out server, and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Another think I was very happy about was that I could get a neat scotch. 100% would recommend and will be going back.

Absolutely amazing. Our server, Arthur, was an absolute angel, bless his heart and his ever loving soul. He was a dear, loved him. Will most definitely come here again. Food was great, drinks were phenomenal!

This is the best stake I have had in Lansing. My wife agrees. Is it worth the price? That is up to you, the atmosphere, the food, and the staff all meet the expectations of the price. The Zip Sauce is recommended, as are the truffle frites.

Capitol prime has stepped it up over the past couple years. I don't know if I was ordering the wrong stuff a couple years ago when I went but this time ebetyhing was great. Service was amazing and the wine was excellent. The food was great and definitely worth the price. The atmosphere is nice here, it's a perfect place to go on a date.

We ate here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a fabulous experience from the moment we stepped in. They had reserved a booth for us, with a rose and placard wishing us a happy anniversary, and a complimentary champagne toast (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available). Our server, Rebecca, was super attentive, and our meals were scrumptious. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the special, sea bass on polenta served with prosciutto-wrapped asparagus spears, and a dessert he can't have in our gluten free household - an extremely generous bread pudding! Several gluten-free options on the menu gave me choices I don't always have in trendy restaurants. Pricey, but worth it. We noticed that they have reduced prices on drinks and some appetizers during happy hour. We'll definitely be back!

3 of us stopped in for an early dinner (4:45pm on a Friday) before attending a concert. We had no reservation and they would definitely prefer everyone make a reservation. However, the restaurant was pretty empty and they were able to accommodate us. We each ordered a salad course & the kale salad was a good mix of texture & taste. I ordered George's Bay Day Boat Scallops. It was a very interesting plate. The blackberry reduction & bacon jam really worked with the polenta. It was definitely a memorable dish. The others in my party had the sirloin & filet & both enjoyed their meals.
The inside of the restaurant is very dark & classic black & navy. The restaurant itself is set apart from the rest of Eastwood & a little isolated feeling.
Our server Kyle was prompt & attentive but not overbearing. We finished our meal & were out the door in about an hour and 15 minutes. Perfect timing for our concert. Great food & we'll be back.

Amazing service and great food! And locally owned! And for birthdays they give a free lava cake and put an adorable bday hat on the table before you arrive. Couldnt have dinner at a classier place in the area!

John took good care of our table. We celebrated 23rd anniversary. Thank you for the rose and Champaign! We had the pear bruschetta, Tomahawk steak, and lemon Tiramisu. Exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I had a great time at Capital Prime.
Our server was wonderful, and the food was nearly perfect.
I got the the duck breast and while it was wonderfully seasoned, the fat was not rendered down enough for my liking.
The atmosphere was also dampened by some very loud guests across from us that were yelling like it was a football game.
That is not the restaurant's fault but it did ruin the mood for me and my husband.
7/10 , wonderful!
