Absolutely amazing food. The egg rolls as an appetizer are a must have. Can't go wrong with any entree here. The mac and cheese as a side were okay but the beans were outstanding. I've had the boss log a couple of times, but chose the chicken wings this time around. No regrets. I will do the eating challenge one day!

My son and I very much enjoyed the experience. I haven't seen him eat some many different types of BBQ! I also dug the metal memorabilia everywhere. The owner has great taste in tunes!

This place is fun and located in a really cool area in Lansing. Our waitress was great and I was dumb enough to try their challenge. You have to finish a Boss Log (which is insanely huge) and 2 sides in 45 minutes. I didn't even get close! Ha! The food was really great and the experience is fun. If you split the challenge between 4 or 5 people...there is plenty of food....it's a pretty good deal! Ha! Fun place to eat.

We like that they have quite a variety of sauces to try out, and the brisket and pork tasted great! The coleslaw could be better. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive.

Absolutely delicious barbecue. Brisket was perfection and the Mac and cheese to die for. Service friendly but seemed a little understaffed, not as attentive as it could have been, but the food made up for it. Great beer selection. Would definitely come back!

It's the best restaurant I'm Greater Lansing Area. Wonderful food, great customer service and awesome ambience. Beef brisket us at par with the best bbq places in US. Dinning here is like a (bi-)weekly ritual. This place is among the top restaurants in US on my list

I gave a 4 start on atmosphere only because I am not into large crowds. Also I mainly got take-out. Everything is superb. I have stayed limited on what I have gotten. I have tried the meat mountain, egg rolls, Miyagi with cheese and the smash burger. Those do rotate but Everything was great. I will continue to keep coming here eventually I will try the boss log an other menu items.

The bartender recommended all her favorites and she has amazing choices. Skins appetizer, brisket, broccoli salad and ciderguys mimosa were outstanding. Definitely worth the drive.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a tasty lunch. I got the smoked Turkey because I’ve had it before and it’s surprisingly good - moist and flavorful (not your grandma’s dried out thanksgiving day bird). The sides are all pretty good, some have a bit of heat to them, but that seems to be most restaurants in Old Town. I tried the S’more cocktail and it was pretty good, if you like coffees, thought it left a bit of burn marshmallow shrapnel in the glass.

We visited this restaurant before a Lugnuts game and found it through DDD. Ordered the beef brisket sandwich. It was slightly dry, should have ordered the beef brisket dish instead I think as my friend ordered it and it was good. Nachos not bad. Friend said the wings were excellent. Good selection of craft beers and good decor. Seems to be a busy spot as there was a lineup when we left.
