Doc's Deli

June 2022-I don't say this often because I'm very particular about ingredients placed in my food but my husband and I came from New Jersey to try their famous cheese steak during an event.. And OH MY GAWD this was so delicious!!!.. we both ordered a cheese steak with the works which consisted of bacon, wiz cheese, mushrooms, peppers, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, some other type of cheese and other toppings I couldn't remember. (The veggies gave it balance) And the meat was piled on!! For 2 sandwiches and a drink I spent close to $30 but it was WORTH IT. Service was also great as my husband and I like every tourist asked so many y questions about what to put on it and etc.. and a bigger fella was so patient with us. I will say we thought this place was CLOSED because of the exterior looking so run down but I could care less as long as they practice sanitary procedures while cooking and the food taste great... we tried Leo's and ishkabibbles before this and they DO NOT COMPARE.. im def coming here anytime I'm in Philly.. I definitely would like the town to help them fix the store front though like a petition or something .. I'd love to see that but if that's how they want to keep it for some reason no complaints here!!!

What a find! This place is shoe horned into a little spot in Lansdowne where I had never noticed it. My son, visiting from LA, said the group he belongs to in LA recommended it. We found it and ... this was one of the best, biggest, and cheapest steak sandwiches I have ever had!! I am so lucky to live near this wonderful shop. Go out of your way to drop in and try one.

Out of town from NC and came here to get a Roast Pork sandwich. Gentleman adv me that they didn't have Roast Pork which broke my heart but I opted to get the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. I am extremely glad I was able to try this first. Jesus Christ is all I can say about the sandwich. The fresh Kaiser Roll along with the fresh beef is absolutely worth a heart attack from the juice that drips from the sandwich!!

Best Philly cheesesteak in Philly hands down out of 3 places this will be #1until I come back and try other places that outdo docs....run down spot...I almost didn't go in because it looks like it's out of business , for as good as these sandwiches are it deserves a nicer esthetic on the outside. Asked them to make sure they added flavor because when we tried Leos it was made perfect but lacked flavor so it became my worst cheesesteak.....lets get back to docs ...you must try their cheesesteak. Next time I will come for rtheir deli sandwiches because they make those sandwiches look good

Never going anywhere ever again! They seriously have the best cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteaks and burgers I’ve ever had. I live with 2 of the most picky eaters ever and they love this place also, which I take as a plus. Only downside, sometimes they run out of the condiments like they didn’t have cheese whiz when I called once, pickles another time, or fries. I take that as a sign of them always being busy so whatever. I ask when they’ll restock and then I call back. I’ve only eaten the burgers, steaks, fries and hoagies. First 2 are always on point no matter how I order. Once the fries are soggy and the once the hoagie needed more mayo and oil, but their quality is unmatched still. I would recommend to anyone.

So my fiancé and I found this place on JL Jupiter YouTube page and we have the place a try. When we pulled up to the place we was like dang this place look ghetto, but it was cool to see a bar next to it since we do like to have a few drinks. So anyways we got a cheesesteak and it was the bomb dot com! Few weeks later my fiancé got a Italian hoagie and I got a Turkey club. If I could give it 10 stars I would! This is our new favorite take out spot!!
