Best Goat In The DMV. Great Service. ππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎ
I am one of their 1# Fan and the Ziggy wings with peas and rice is a must try. A taste you will fall in love with , i promise ....
I wish the muffin man was a sit down restaurant because the music, the, people and the food are wonderful. I live about 30 minutes away and i would travel there any day of the week for the food. Great food, great music!!!!
The place have GREAT tasting food... But if only they delivered to homes of Prince Georges County Maryland... The joint would even be better....
YUM!. Amazing jerk shrimp and pina colada muffins. Highly recommend this place.
REMINDS ME OF BROOKLYN, NY. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and one could always find a caribbean resturant with delicious food.
When I moved to Maryland and found heard about then tried Muffin Man I was in Love.
The food taste so much like the food served in the caribbean resturants in Brooklyn, I think about home everytime I go to either eat in or take out.
I hope they stay for years to come.
The food is quite authentic and delicious, although a bit pricey.
HEAVEN ON A PLATE!!!!. I was introduced to Muffin Man through my bestfriend and i was hooked from the start.Shortly after they shut down for renovation and i was lost and turned out.lol...I called like every two weeks to see if they opened back up. Long story short im proud of our people doing great things and it was definitly worth the wait.
Thanks to the courteous staff also
Well, I liked it. A lot!. The previous reviewer did not have a good experience, but I have not had the same experience as he/she had.
I have to admit I have not encountered a great deal of warm fuzzies, but I have gotten some great jerk chicken. My son prefers the Ziggy Wings which have a sweet sauce, but I perfer the bite of the jerk wings.
As for not selling breakfast muffins anymore, this is inaccurate to the extreme. They have huge, exceptionallly tasty muffins. They have all the standard choc., double choc., cream cheese, etc.... They also have enjoyable, and unusual muffins like key lime, mango, sweet potato and pina colada.
I am sorry Ckedwards had a bad experience, but he/she only says "when they were just a bakery and my food was not very good". However, I have been going there for nigh on five years, and it always had caribbean food during that time. That, along with the inaccuracy of the statement about muffins leads me to believe there is more than a little spite involved here.
Do they have a carry out menu: I do not know because I always just walk in. Ditto with the Call-ins.
Do they have muffins: Yes, the best.
Do they have caribbean food: Yes, and quite good.
Do they have the most friendly wait staff: Perhaps not.
So in short, I do not come for a "warm fuzzy", I come for great muffins and very good carry out caribbean.
I've been coming here since they opened. I've used them for catering and individual meals. The food is high quality. Sure you may have to wait a few minutes when you stop in but it's well worth it. This is not a fast food restaurant. The owners have prided themselves on not cutting corners to deliver great food at a good price. Portion sizes are tremendous and the muffins are legendary.
Food is great service is slow abrasive and brusque. I eat here once a week because the jerk pit down the street doesn't have as wide a selection and I need roti as an option. If their menu overlapped with this one more I'd give them all of my business. Also this place closes at 5 so its no good for dinner which is a huge missed opportunity. I would eat there more if I could get dinner there.
Update: The service has improved but the hours haven't. The food is still the bomb.
