Reviews of Red Ginger

Went to Red Ginger last night after a long absence. The house was outstanding. And the Singapore rice noodles , my go-to dish at Red Ginger, was so good I tried to eat it all in one sitting. It was so fresh and delicious. And their prices are great service was fast. I will not be having any more long absences from Red Ginger. Have to try out a lot more things on your menu.

Lanham has about 10 resturants within 15 minutes of me that serve food like this. anyone born and raised in the DC area have come to expect decent chinese food. it's right behind take out soul food. There are certain expections that MUST be met. we can quibble about some of them..ie the store is next door to my house so I can live with less than perfect Foo Yung. If you have read any of the reviews here you will see a lot of folks say it is the "bomb" I say however Nay, Nay! If you look at the dates a lot of them are dated to a few years ago. Now back then I would have said the same. NOW is different. they do not make the Grade. In front of me as I write is a plate of combo Lo Mein that I need a microscope to find anything other than noodles. I will say that the noodles are cooked well but if I just wanted Noodles I would buy a 10 cent pack of oddles of noddles and OD on that. As a Washingtonian, no matter how dirty or out of the way it is I will go the distance for good Chinese Food. and I can tell you this is not the place.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! Service is absolutely terrible!!!! I ordered from a delivery service. They got my order WRONG and decided that they weren't going to refund me or even exchange the incorrect order for something else, after I already paid for it. Absolutely ridiculous! I couldn't believe the guy who barely spoke any English told me to call the delivery service to see if they do something knowing damn well they can't, "because there's nothing he could do." I don't know what it is with this area, but the Asian store owners are not very friendly to the African American population, though it's mostly prevalent throughout the area. I paid for your service and food, received bad service, and couldn't even be refunded. Couldn't believe it. 2nd worst service in the area EVER!!!!

I was told I could not order my sub the way i wanted to and they were going to charge me a different price and told me I will have to order two separate orders in order to have the sub i requested. Your general tso chicken is not all that i have had way better.............. And the girl who answered had a horrible attitude.
