I have honestly never been to friendly’s. I came with my boyfriend and was impressed by the “old fashioned “ atmosphere. The service was great, very fast. It was a Sunday afternoon. Great prices on the food..11.99 for a soup, BLT, and fries. You can’t beat that! And discounted kids meals with adult purchases! I would definitely come back!

They changed the menu recently, so some of your old favorites may not exist anymore...for example, the tomato soup which was my wife's favorite. But otherwise, the food and service are still excellent.

Just left California Tortilla because the attendant blatantly looked at us twice and walked away without even a hello. So we walked out and went to Friendly’s where the hostess greeted us with a nice smile immediately and brought us to a clean table. Waitress came over immediately got our drink order and food order. Great meal and excellent services sit has been for 40 years.

I was met with a lovely exchange by the women at the counter. Overall a perfect pickup experience.

There used to be 2 Friendly's restaurants in our area, approximately 5 Mi apart from each other, one in Morrisville and the other in Langhorne PA. Well the Morrisville Friendly's closed. But one of their servers when to the Langhorne Friendly's, her name is Theresa. So when you go to the Langhorne Friendly's ask to be seated in the "lower Morrisville" area to get Theresa to be your server. She was great. She was very attentive, to make sure you had enough food and drink. She felt really bad that she couldn't get a menu with more pictures of the food (my son is non- verbal and doesn't know how to read) for my Autistic child to select what he wanted to eat. So that left me to choice for him. But after he devoured his chicken parm sandwich and broccoli, he had no problem picking from the ice cream selection for his Happy Ending Sundae. Theresa was and is a lovely person who seemed thrilled to know that her customers left feeling good and had full bellies. Which we did. Theresa, thank you for giving us a pleasant experience. Your company is lucky to have her.

Friendly's is one of my favorite diners, as they have a selection of food that I personally enjoy (sandwiches, burgers, quesadillas), and they have a heavy emphasis on icecream. In my experience, the food has been consistently good. My kids especially have enjoyed it due to the kid friendly spin on some icecream.
My main complaint are the prices. Three main dishes and one icecream ended up around $80 after tip (most standard menu items are around the $15-17 price range).
Overall I'd recommend if you don't mind the prices.

Love their ice cream. We treat the family a few times per year. I decided to try their chicken parm sandwich with crispy chicken and it was delicious! I picked up the order and brought it home and it was still very hot and the cheese was still melty. It was huge, so I should have only eaten half, but it was so good I ate it all. The ice cream was delicious, as usual.

Nice staff and good food! A bit pricey for what it is but the ice cream nostalgia alone was worth it.
