For my son’s 11th birthday in September he requested a starry night theme. I went in gave creative freedom to the cake decorating and just requested some swirl or something that resembles starry night. When my sister brought home the cake I was blown away. I didn’t want to use candles or cut this work of art. Just the thought and the free hand artwork was amazing. Oh and to top it off the cake was delicious. Couldn’t be more happy with our results and have been recommending them to everyone.
I was thrilled to hear about The Happy Mixer through a co-worker. Their vegan brownies were rich and flavorful, as were all the goodies we tried. The chocolate chip cookies were soft and delicious. My daughter's vegan graduation cake was beautiful. She absolutely loved it. The bakery has a welcoming feel with great customer service. Plenty of parking.
my mom picked me up a birthday cake and she told the workers that we wanted a mix of purples and they did a fabulous job. the cake tasted great as well. i’m vegan so it’s hard to find a bakery that’s fully vegan so thank you again.
Since being gluten free I have yet to have a decent hoagie (the bun being the problem) until now. Their GF baguettes make fantastic sandwiches. I look forward to making a cheesesteak! Highly recommend the desserts as well. :)
My husband got me a brownie from the pizza place we regularly go to and we decided to take a trip to the bakery. I have had celiac for a few years and this was hands down the best gluten free bakery goods I have ever had. We used to go to a place in the city and this beats it hands down and is reasonably priced. Everything tastes delicious and doesn’t have any aftertaste (like some other gluten free bakeries).
They did an amazing job on my sons 1st birthday smash cake ! He is allergic to eggs so the cake had to be vegan . Many bakeries I called could not bake a cake without eggs . Happy mixer did! The cake was beautiful too! Highly recommend
My friend’s birthday was last Wednesday and instead of getting her a gift, I got her baked goods because she doesn’t get to have them often due to her allergy to gluten. Upon finding this place, I called and the woman who took my order was a delight. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I said I wanted a “corgi cake”, but oh my goodness they took my idea and ran with it (as seen in the pictures)! Thank you so much Casey for the amazing decoration and thank you so much to Maria for showing me all of the other tasty baked goods you have. I don’t have a gluten allergy, but I thought your desserts were better than any others I’ve had! And my friend who is gluten free has never been happier to have desserts!
We had a gluten free cake made for our son's college graduation. They beautifully decorated the cake with his college logo (Carnegie Mellon University). It was delicious, and you wouldn't know it was gluten free. Thank you!
I of course waited last minute to get a cake. I was looking for an over the top style cake that was Elmo themed. I was told they could draw Elmo on the cake given the short notice and I was completely fine with that. When I got the cake I was blown away. It was way better than I expected. I highly recommend this place. It tasted just as great as it looks.
