Kind of BS. There is no dine in. And because they are short staffed they are charging 10% on top to cover gratuity even though it’s take out. I would normally throw a few bucks anyway but having it mandatory because the “waitress is only making 4$ an hour” that’s not a gratuity.. that’s part of the bill.. so when you say the meal is going to cost 16.75 - that’s a lie.. when you tack on an “automatic gratuity” it’s part of the cost. A gratuity is a tip. Not part of the bill. Haven’t tried the food yet.. still not coming back.

Food tasted AMAZING but the service was absolutely horrible! Wait staff openly complained with eachother about everything in the middle of the dinning area, would sit on the floor and play on their phones, and didn't bother to bring our drink order (or say anything) for 20 mins because they had no clean glasses. Not to mention our waitress let all the drinks go dry without ever checking on us...paying over $120 for dinner I expected better service!

I would visit with family for their incredibly affordable lunch buffet every year for the last 10 years or so. It was always very delicious, clean and fresh. I've had the opportunity to work inside of this restaurant and I learned a lot. It is the CLEANEST restaurant in Lander, Wyoming- from top to bottom. It's a team game and everyone busts their chops, including and especially the owners. During COVID they kept as many employees on as they could, and even added an automatic gratuity to make sure the waitstaff could stay afloat, DESPITE backlash from some customers. Had it not been for this automatic gratuity, I would not have been able to manage (you should look up state minimum wage for waitstaff). Mind you- I don't have a new car or a new TV- but my bills are paid. They operate with sublime integrity, compassion and have a strong feeling of responsibility to the community. I am beyond grateful to these people who play such an incredible role in my life, my community and very easily the world. Whether you're staying long or just popping in, come experience this iconic family and restaurant in Lander.

The food here is good. BUT they have changed to takeout only since the pandemic... I was charged a late fee for ordering at 12pm. Mind you they open at 11 and close at 1:30. Considering they are takeout only there shouldn’t be a late fee no matter what time you order? Especially an HOUR after opening. I’ve literally never heard of a late fee when ordering takeout. Let’s not forget this fee isn’t disclosed anywhere on their website of Fb Tacking on 18% is extreme when you are charging late fees too? Food might be good but talk about expensive and over rated lately.

The place was very clean, and my waitress, Dee was very friendly. The food was a little disappointing. I ordered the Szeschuan beef. It was adequately spicy, but also oddly sweet. This is my favorite Chinese dish, and I’ve never tasted it sweet before... Also, for the $10 price, the portion was less than half that I generally receive at other Chinese restaurants at similar or lower prices.
