Gannett Grill

I recently met a friend for lunch at Gannett Grill and we ate outside. A gift for my friend was accidentally left behind and after going back the next day, my friend was told someone turned it in but a lady working liked it so much she took it home. It hadn't even been 12 hours since it was turned in! My friend asked that it be returned. They took her information and said they would call. No one ever called back so I called the next day and asked that the item be returned to the restaurant. I was told everyone who was working the day it was taken would be contacted and the person who took it would be asked to bring it back. It's now been five days and the item still hasn't been returned. That's stealing. Even the animal shelter has a 5 day waiting period before they adopt out animals that are brought in! This is totally unprofessional and just plain wrong. Come on people, we can do better!

Whenever anyone comes to visit Lander or even Fremont County, I always recommend Gannett Grill. I've been eating here for the past 12 years and I've never been disappointed. In my opinion, they serve the best burgers in Fremont County and maybe in the state of Wyoming. Their pizza and salads are also delicious. We love the outdoor seating and the fun atmosphere. The service is always positive and friendly. You can't go wrong eating here.

We came here on probably the busiest time of year, right after the lander 4th of july parade. So, I'm not sure how it is under normal situations but if you find yourself wanting to go there after the parade know it will be busy. The food was great and came to us at a reasonable speed considering the overflow of patrons. This restaurant is a pay first place, so just heads up. They have outdoor and indoor seating available. Also the people are nice and welcoming. I'm sure I would like this place more during a calmer time.
