One of the best cheese steaks I've had. I can't believe these guys are closing down at the end of this month. Hopefully someone buys them out. The restaurant is a bit dated. However, the friendly atmosphere and love they have for making their food is evident. I definitely want to go back!

Wow. Over 50 years ago had my first cheese steak here. Still moist seasoned mix of onion and meat wrapped up in a blanket of melted cheese on a toasty Italian roll. Consistently excellent. There's other stuff, too. You have to go.
Get it while you can because they will close this business by 12/31/19, or before 8f current supply runs out. This place has been around forever. Cheese steaks are excellent and pizza is fantastic.
The best place in town for cheesesteaks or subs! Haven't tried the pizza. Best Italian sub around, hands down! For those of you complaining about it being cash only, carry a few bucks in your pocket and stop crying.
CASH ONLY !!!! The only people who don't like this place are ones who had to go to an ATM to get cash. this is a great place to hit up after a barhopping adventure. Excellent food and a beer bar. I will be a customer as long as they keep the lights on. Guaranteed.

We only ever get cheesesteaks to go. Sketchy neighborhood and even sketchier clientele. But they are consistently best cheesesteak and best rolls of anywhere i have ever been! Been going here for 30 years!
I eat cheese steaks often and have not found one better than the Rendezvous in Lancaster,PA. These guys do a great job. I keep telling them we need one in Ephrata. Keep making them and we'll keep eating.
