I lived in Thailand for 10 years. Khun Sak, the owner and cook is from the same town where I lived and his family lived 2 houses down from where I lived. For anyone who knows Northern Thai food, this is as authentic as I have found. Excellent food and authentically Thai. If you are any a true taste of Thailand, this is the place to go.

Ordered mango curry with tofu and pad see awe with vegetables. Both were so tasty and served hot. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the man who took our order was nice. I’d definitely order again

Ploy Thai is a great addition to the Lancaster Thai dining scene. Having only been there once so far, I can't comment on many of the menu selections, but the Thai iced tea was inexpensive at only $3 and spot on, and the green curry was delicious (perhaps a wee bit too salty as a lot of restaurant food can be).
Do note that while they have an indoor seating area, they have no table service. Thus, you order at the front counter and they bring you your food and drinks as they're ready. Also, in line with the lack of table service is a lack of real silverware and dishes, so you'll be eating out of to-go containers with plastic silverware. If that's an issue for you, you'll want to go elsewhere.
The ambiance is otherwise just fine, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are quite reasonable. We'll be back!

I was in the area and found this place. The reviews seemed pretty good and I really wanted Thai food. I was not disappointed. It looks like a random little hole-in-the-wall and there's a sign on the door that says you can eat inside, but there is no table service. So, we placed our order at the counter and had a seat. I ordered Thai iced tea, the fresh rolls and pad see awe with beef. The fresh rolls were absolutely gorgeous and so delicious. The pad see awe was very yummy - perfect comfort food. The sauce is savory and flavorful. The noodles had a good texture. The meal was served on takeout containers and disposable plates, but if that's what they need to do to stay open and continue serving delicious, authentic Thai food, I certainly don't mind.

We had issues with discrimination at another local Thai restaurant and found Ploy Thai Kitchen. This was the BEST Thai food I have had in quite a while. The owner took our order, cooked, and served us. Do not be fooled by the location or small interior. Everything was clean, delicious, courteous, and relaxing!!! I will definitely visit again.

I love this place so much. Their mango curry is always delish and never misses. The drunken noodles always hit the spot as well. I like that there’s so many diff spice levels and medium is perfect for me. I get togo a lot and the foods always hot and fresh. The few times I eat in the “ older “ gentleman that works there is so sweet. He’s always nice and I never had a bad meal with this place.

Literally one of my favorite spots in central PA! Fresh and impeccable taste. It doesn’t get better than Ploy so if you’re a Thai fan then this should be one of your regular spots. The owners are super friendly as well!

I am always a little nervous when places are not busy. Not sure why this place was empty, because the food was delicious and the service was great! I had the drunken noodle which was awesome. Everything was was balanced and perfectly seasoned. I look forward to trying more things on the menu.

The best Thai I’ve ever had! The lady who seated us and took our order was so sweet. You could tell she wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal and the dining experience. The Lychee Thai tea is to die for (first time trying lychee)! I can’t wait to be back with family
