I'll admit that there have been times when we've been to the SH where service has been less than stellar, but our family has a special fondness for the place, and we've been back time and again. Perhaps it is the 32 oz. Margaritas or the great beer selection on draft. For sports bar fare, our food has been consistently good. I recommend the chili cheese fries, btw. It's a fun place to hang out and watch a game, but get there early because the place is rockin' during football season. :)
Great food, reasonable prices. The 3or 4 times I've been here the service was great. Reading past reviews I've either had good luck with severs or they've made some changes. Thw cheese fries are ridiculously good.
I'm not a review type guy, but i felt this needed a review. First off, the food and beer are great. They have great variety. I've been going to the SH every now and then for a couple months and the service usually sucks. The wait staff is never personable. I hear them complain about their job and it seems they do not want to be there. I was there alone last week and had the best serving experience I've ever had there. The young lady informed me it was her first week as a new server. She could have fooled me! Although she was still learning and had some rough days, I could tell she still genuinely enjoyed the job. She was very outgoing, smiley, and was actually interested as I was talking. Not to mention very attentive. Also, she writes her name on the napkins which I've never seen. I enjoyed the personal touch. That made it a lot easier to get her attention too. The food came out at the right time, my beer was always full, and I didn't get the same bad service I'm used to. I'm glad I stopped by again, because now I know the manager is doing something right. I am looking forward to going back for the great beer, food, and now service!!!
God Bless.
Winner Winner Wings for Dinner. I must say I was hesitant to try Station House after reading some bad reviews and having been a long time fan of Cafe Chuckle (minus the clown motif), but I must say that I have nothing but great things to say about the food and the staff there.
If you are looking for great food with a sports bar attitude this should be your first stop. The beer specials are second to none, the wings are out of this world delicious. If you take a trip there I would suggest you try the cheesesteak fries, as they are one of my favorite menu items.
Bring it to "The House"!
Great Experience. Stopped in for the first time 1/13/12. Great drink specials-prices very good. I had salad with blackenned chicken which was very tasty and my husband had a steak wrap. We will go back again.
I want to start by writing that the other reviewers need to keep their personal life stories out of restaurant reviews. If you don't like a certain food, don't order it. This is classic American bar food. Blackened chicken is going to be salty. The salads are going to have iceberg lettuce. They do sandwiches, wraps, salads and quesadillas with great options suitable for lunch OR dinner: chips, fries, onion rings, salad, soup. You can order anything ANYWAY you like it here. We have gone here countless times, sometimes 2-3 times in one week if we're busy, and we have NEVER had bad service or bad food. The servers are attentive and personable. They regularly memorize a list of 20 interesting beers on tap that change regularly and keep us coming back. I always have trouble deciding what to order because everything I and the many friends and family we have introduced to the place have had has been delicious! I usually get the crispy buffalo chicken wrap. This place is an old standby for us now; if you had a bad experience you should definitely try it again!
My wife and I were there for trivia last night. We haven't been in since the first month they were open, which was a bad experience, but what do you expect when the place is just opening? It's got to be extremely difficult to do what these people do on a regular basis. Anyway, the food was absolutely out of this world. The portions that you get for the price are untouchable in this area. Also, they have the best specials in town. Our waitress informed us of all the specials throughout the week, and told us that she would love to see us back another night this week. One of the owners came to see how our meal was while we were eating, which I thought was very nice. How many places do that? We stayed and played trivia, which drew a great crowd. The place was packed. We are talking about going back tonight for seafood night and to do karaoke. Great place, great food, great service, nice owners. This is a must try for everyone! If you ha a bad experience in the first six months they were open, TRY IT AGAIN! Remember folks, starting a new business from scratch is very difficult and there are going to be glitches, but these guys are doing it right!
First off - Major shoutout to the TWO ladies working the floor. That's right TWO servers for the entire place. Kayla and Kari - they also doubled as the bartender!! Absolutely crazy = yet these ladies were hustling around, with big smiles on their faces - polite to every single customer, no matter what. They did their absolute best to seat everyone as quickly as the staffing situation would allow. My wife and I understand these types of situations so we told the girls to stop by whenever they could. Now, on to the atmosphere and food. Great classic sports bar/pub feel. 3 hightops and a bar that seats 12 maybe? The 2 slightly separated dining rooms. TV's throughout so everyone could watch the games. They do a raffle on Eagles swag each game day. My wife got the wings well done, and I had the classic cheeseburger sub. The roll was sooooo soft! kept all the stuff inside from squeezing out all over the place. The highpoint was the local pickles they used - fortunate for me, as I love pickles!! Cocktails were great - we had lemon drop martinis and old-fashioneds made exactly as we requested. Food was very good for sure. The kitchen needs a big shoutout too!! Great place to catch a game and friendly smiles.
My husband and I were happy to try out a new local spot close by and we were very impressed with the food and how great their wings are. There are so many restaurants that can't provide this type of quality.. we look forward to coming back and trying out different items on the menu. The customer service was great! Darnell did an amazing job making ensure the food was exactly how we wanted it and checked on us throughout our whole experience there. We will be recommending our friends and family to check this place out!
Great service. Polite & friendly. Great food choices, cooked well, taste is great. So good I forgot to take the picture before I started.
Really great wings, great service from Darnell, made us feel welcomed, everyone was helping everyone. Team work. Wasn’t too busy at all, Friday night at 7pm. Will definitely be back
We have dinner at Station House every week before playing poker at the bar. The bar is clean and comfortable. The food is consistently good. Kayla and her staff are responsive and friendly. Our poker group enjoys our evenings!
The new owners are doing fabulous things here! The chicken parm was on point and the beer tower is a fun and unique item
Food was ok, and the ambiance was nice.
Love stationhouse! Music trivia and karaoke on Wednesdays with dollar wings are my favorite, always a good time. Big fan of the Kentucky sweet heat wings 🍗🔥
Station House has reopened under new management! Took pictures of their new menu. Food tastes great, service was great. We met thr new owner, she's very nice but shared with us that she unfortunately couldn't get the recipe for the super hot station house sauce that we loved. Be sure to go back and give them your business
