My girlfriend and I were in Lancaster and I was looking at the map that comes with the Discover Lancaster magazine when I saw Silver Spring Family restaurant. So we googled it and decided to give it a try. She got the open faced hot roast beef sandwich with french fries and gravy. She loved it. I got the special Delmonico steak it was loaded with onions, mushrooms. Cheddar cheese and Bbq sauce omg was that yummy! And the soup beef barley was so good I had to buy a quart to bring back home!!! Cant wait to come back to Lancaster again, will definitely be eating there again. I highly recommend this place. So good!
I absolutely love this place! The entire staff is wonderful, and makes you feel welcome. I got my late breakfast (French Toast & Bacon!) to go today, and it was just as delicious as if I were in the restaurant! It's a great place for any meal! I work local and always recommend you guys to guests!
Pleased with my meal and service. Had the George’s panini, which came with chips and a salad. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive
Busy family-friendly diner. A little warm and loud bc of the bustling clientele. Friendly owner and management. Good quality ingredients in their tasty food. High marks on their grilled cheese sandwich. Service can sometimes be a little brusque and rushed when the restaurant is busier but good folks and good food keep us coming back.
Stopped in for an early dinner and found the restaurant empty, at first.
Wait staff was very pleasant and the food was good.
I ordered meatloaf that came covered in gravy on top of stuffing. The food was seasoned nicely.
Husband ordered broiled fish and fries.
By the time we left the restaurant was filling up with customers.
I got tgr cheeseburger sub. Never had ut before it was unique and filling. The sandwich comes with fries.
The thing I didnt like is you only get 1 refill on any drink.
This diner is a great place to dine. I have been coming here every week over the past year and a half with my friend. I have enjoyed all three meals (Bkfst, lunch, and dinner). The selection of food is alway hot, delicious, and served as ordered. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is certainly family oriented. The owners are usually there often working themselves. It seems their mission is to provide a wonderful dining experience with a very caring touch (because it definitely works for me!!!). I would recommend this place with 10 stars if I could.
We usually come here when we stay at the Warehouse Hotel in Spooky Nook, and it's a great family restaurant. I haven't tries their all day breakfast yet, but their chicken francese, desserts and taco soup are delicious! Although they charge for refills, they have extraordinary service and have reasonable prices. I'm looking forward to coming back here!
Have always loved this place and its even better with a fresh look and new owners. On my last visit my Reuben was delicious!

24-hour breakfast, and everything else you could be craving. Good kids menus that include a small dessert. Coffee drinks and half-pound burgers are offered as featured additions to the core menu.
Not really sure where to begin, so many positives. Place was packed! The woman who greeted us (who I’d imagine to be the owner or manager) was busting her tail. Cleaning, checking folks out. She was very respectful directing her staff, which were working really hard as well. Our waitress, was super attentive while being insanely busy. Another staff member offered us coffee and they all seemed to help each other out. The quaint old school diner look made me feel happy and nostalgic. The food was AMAZING! I will be going back to try new things ASAP. Really nice experience. Loved our first visit!
Excellent food and service. The pic on the left is Michaele's cranberry pecan french toast. And yes....I totalled mooched a piece. Hey....I shared my gravy!
Anyway...my faith is restored in food service as our waitress was delightful. Since covid, it seems some people just don't care or have a clue. This restaurant was old fashioned great grub and friendly people.
