One of the top places in the city for breakfast! There's usually a line outside starting around 7:45 am, but it's a friendly line and a tradition for many. Typically the owner Melissa opens the door and greets everyone. All the employees are so friendly. What a great way to start your day. Food is solid as you can get - the two "sides" of roasted potatoes or tomatoes are legendary. Omelettes are so yummy. Apparently the Swedish Pancakes are a "thing" as well, but I don't like pancakes. Warm and cozy local place with good strong coffee, thick toast made from artisan bread and a welcome option for roasted cherry tomatoes alongside (or instead of) roasted skin-on red potatoes. If you aren’t opposed to oats in your pancakes, try the interesting and different Swedish pancakes served with apple sauce. Our check came with an extra treat - two little chocolate chip cookies to have as we drained the last of our coffee. The place is small so there may be a wait, but singles and couples may have the option to sit at the breakfast bar.
It was one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I’m not gonna lie. The staff was super nice and no words to describe the food. Wish they could be in NY as well. The waffles topped with vanilla ice cream and Orange special French toast made my day, omg… Thank you! We will definitely go back when we visit Lancaster again.
Still the best! Great service, fantastic food. Consistently great. This is the best place for breakfast in Lancaster. They have everything from basic breakfast to chilaquiles. I highly recommend the multi grain bread. The coffee is delicious. All ingredients are locally sourced. Get there early, unless you like to wait for a table.
We really enjoyed this place. We had the Chilaquiles, Indian omelet, pancakes, and eggs. All were very good. The Indian chutney was fantastic. The place is very small, but they worked our group of 7 in very fast. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: I went back and had the Indian Omellette. It was really good. This is a great place for breakfast.
After years of saying “we should go there”, we finally did. I thought the wait was going to be forever but in 15 minutes, we had a table.
I can’t begin to describe how surprised I was at the quality of the food. 5/5 totally recommend.
Great food and specials. Had french toast with orange flavors covered in strawberries. Amazing! Service was fast, attentive and kind. Local art for ambiance. Loved it!
We stopped here for Sunday brunch while visiting Lancaster. There was a short wait (at noon). This is a cute cafe with a nice vibe, friendly service, a good selection of entrees and sides, and patio seating. They very nicely accommodated our gluten and dairy allergies (and had no problems after dining). We parked on the street right in front. Many locals eat here and it is a popular venue. We realized we’d eaten here when visiting the area about 6 years ago and had a pleasant experience then too. Highly recommend.
In a COVID world this place brings the charm. My wife and I enjoyed Sunday breakfast here. They offer dining in their beautiful picturesque outdoor patio. Urban, artistic and quaint is how I would describe it. The food menu is limited but that is to be expected in today's world. Service was excellent and social distancing was definitely practiced. The food itself was good but lacked that extra wow factor. Overall, I'd dine here again.
The breakfast menu looked great so we stopped in. This is a warm and inviting place with excellent staff and service.
The atmosphere is relaxing and our breakfast couldn't have better.
