Had the pleasure of being turned onto this place for lunch when some biker friends and myself rode in from Philly.The first time I've had real McCoy slow smoked BBQ in twenty years,since I moved to Philly from down South.
Otherwise I've only been able to get the scrawny beef ribs with five or so ribs in a rack at the market that I can easily each three racks, so I ordered the three rib long ribs.It was like being on a live action of the Flintstones as big as these ribs are.At 6'3" and 350,I'm no slouch to enjoying good food and only managed to get one,yes one,rib down, and I was full. The word succulent doesn't do these ribs justice.I had my two leftover ribs packed up along with a two pound order of boneless beef ribs ,and a half pound of burnt ends to have next Shabbos and my taste buds keep asking if it's Friday yet.Great food,great friendly service will definitely have me returning in the future. Toda raba for one of the best meals I've had in awhile and I didn't even try out the sides they offer.
This place is amazing, every time I think about the food I must go back. Brisket is off the hook, Long ribs is just so amazing melted in my mouth. Burnt ends are great and the meat candy is great to. just so much heaven in 1 place. Neveh!!!

We came looking for a nice BBQ dinner but were blown out of the water with high quality food and exemplary service. The smoke flavor was top notch by far. You gotta try the "BIG DALLAS", full of flavor, smoke, tender AF, melt in your mouth!! The friendly service was the cherry on top. A+++ We are definitely coming back next time we are in town. Thank you!!
What a delight! Found this place online and it did not disappoint. My friend and I split 2 sandwiches. One was the Carolina Gold, and it was very good and worth the fact that it was messy with all the juicy goodness. But the real home run was the Smoked Brisket sandwich. Best I have had since I used to go to Austin on business. I also got to sample the Burnt Ends and they were a real treat. Prices are a tad over normal because everything is kosher and that makes it cost higher. But so worth it all around. Do not miss this place!!
We loved the atmosphere everything was a bit pricey, but would definitely get the pastrami again! It was juicy and fatty just like it supposed to be with that thick crunchy crust. The brisket was good, but a little dry, wouldn't get it again for the price. The coleslaw was delicious and paired perfectly with the pastrami. Definitely will be back if we pass through again.
It's hard to find good kosher BBQ but Southside Smokehouse figured it out! The food is super tasty and real impeccable smoke flavor. I generally go for either A Smoked Brisket Sandwich or BBQ Burnt Ends. If I'm not in the mood for smoked meats, I get A Hot Pastrami Sandwich on Rye or the Dagwood which Is pretty epic all my favorite things in one sandwich you have in there schnitzel pastrami kishka and onion rings like c'mon. My favorite sides are the Wings or the Texas Fries. Also the vibes here are great real diner style.
A big shout out to Manager Moish for being a superb host.Great Guy ! makes you want to come again.BTW if you're going with your little ones don't shy away from the kiddie meal it is very generous,delicious and hearty I was even tempted to go after the sizzling Nuggets lol...All in all is a great little corner for people who appreciate Southern Style Meats and Their Customer Service is unparalleled!
