The Sweet Spot is our favorite gelato hang out. With a pool table, a chess board, and some unique artwork, there's more to do than just eat ice cream, although I'd be perfectly content to do the latter all day. The pistachio gelato is the perfect combination of sweet and salty, while the cookies n' cream literally melts in your mouth. My husband is obsessed with the chocolate flavors and my daughter can't say no to any of them. Even more rewarding, this is a family owned business, who makes the gelato in small batches in house, using local ingredients, so you can feel good about spending your dollars here. Bon appetite.
I have to say I am currently obsessed with this local spot. It is a short bike ride from my house so its way to easy to stop there during the week. I would highly recommend the salted graham and pistachio flavor to anyone. They also have a pool table which makes it a fun place to hangout. We stop here just as a couple and even do couple dates to this gelato shop. The service is always really good and I love that they use real spoons and bowls to reduce on waste.
Very cute place serving house made gelato. They have a unique variety of flavors, some with wine or liquor. They offer tastes if you cannot make up your mind. Good place to take kids.
We just visited the Sweet Spot for the first time. The gelato is amazing! We tried the chocolate peanut butter cup and the coffee cookie gelato which both more than satisfied our sweet tooth. There are so many different flavors to try, so we know we'll be back again very soon!
The Sweet Spot is a beautifully maintained and operated store in Lakewood. The customer service is always friendly and the gelato is delicious. The fruit infused flavors are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them. I would recommend the Sweet Spot to anyone!
Awesome! On par with other dessert specialty places such as Mitchell's and Sweet Moses. The gelato is all great and each flavor rings true to it's name. They also have a food truck!
What isn’t there to love about this shop? It’s family run from top to bottom. I talked to the owner the last time I was there, she’s so kind! Her daughter apparently makes all of the flavors as well!? What a busy life. The vegan one I’ve tried are incredibly delish, and it’s one of my favorite places to stop at when I’m up in Lakewood. (p.s. the vegan pb flavor is to die for!!!)
Gelato is good but nothing really special. Prices are reasonable. Expect a huge mound of gelato in a tiny little cup. Prepare to have a very messy treat if you go here.
