This is about as close as your going to get as a California style taco shop in this area, you get an actual carne asada burrito, they don't add rice and beans and all kind of other mess into your burrito unless you ask. They have rolled tacos breakfast burritos the whole 9 yards, the carnitas are not the greatest but they are decent.
Was amazing.. We tried the enchilada (chicken) tamale and washington burrito all were outstanding... thank you! we have tried many mexican food places here that were supposed to be the best, this place is a dive and had the best food we have found in washington. Going to try breakfast next
At last! True SoCal style Mexican food! I have yet to have anything here that I don't like. For all you transplants missing tres rolled con guacamole y una carne asada burrito, get down here to Lakewood. And like Roberto's, they're open 24/7.
Mexican, not Moroccan. Great menu and selection. The food is always prepared fresh. Low $ and large portions. The simple taco, soft corn tortillas filled with your choice of meat, even shrimp or fish, salsa and guacamole for about 3 bucks! The hot sauce is good as well, it doesn't taste like its from a can or bottle.
Breakfast burrito was huge! Had half for lunch! Taste was great also! Super nachos is definitely better then other places. So glad I stopped by to try it out and have been back and will keep try out other items on menu.
I love Memo’s. The food is fresh and they use high quality ingredients. The portions are beyond generous so my dinner also includes lunch the next day. The prices are steep for fast food but amortized over two meals it is deliciously worth it
Food is always very good and very authentic, not American-style mex. Exceptionally good prices and a substantial menu with a plethora of choices. Great lunch specials and awesome salsa. I eat here every time I get to Tacoma. Open 24 hours! Amazing!
I love their breakfast burritos best! I tried the chorizo & egg as well as the sausage & egg burrito and I will definitely be getting those again. They were hot and packed with potato, egg, meat, and even some cheddar cheese.
I also tried the chicken torta, but was not super impressed. It did not have much flavor to it and the consistency of the pulled chicken was slightly tougher than I prefer.
I love the carnitas burrito. The carnitas is cooked perfectly and the burrito is stuffed with all the goodies. I never able to take picture as I am to eager to eat them then remember afterwards to take a picture. My husband swears by the Washington burritos. The food is good portions and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are some lines during lunch and diner times but worth the wait.
