Really good fried cod fish fillets. Especially w/tartar sauce. It's a bit pricey, however, for what is essentially a nicer seafood fast food joint...When I say nicer I mean in comparison to the only other fast food places I've tried before that specialize in seafood - Skippers & Long John Silvers (similar atmosphere though). Ivar's is definitely a step above in quality, taste and at least equal in quantity.. It's just not quite sit down restaurant level quality, and to be fair, maybe it's not trying to be..

A fairly small and not too crowded environment with great food and amazing, friendly staff will come again highly recommend a stop by this establishment

Ivar’s is exceptional!! Friendly and prompt service. Spacious restaurant, very clean and comfy. Excellent music, too. I especially loved the clam chowder. The “Full Boat” special is what we order and a great deal: 10 pieces of fish, fries, coleslaw and clam chowder. Definitely recommend and decidedly we’ll be back.

The staff seemed more focused on drive thru. The restaurant dining room is stuck in the 70's and is in need of an update. I have eaten at Ivar's for decades and always ordered Cajun fish and chips and consistently they have shrunk the potions down so much that it is no longer enjoyable.

This place was awesome! A friend of mine told me about it, so we checked it out this past weekend. Super nice folks running it, and the food was great! Will definitely come back again.

I hadn't been to Ivar's in awhile and I just want to say, amazing experience! The food has always been great. We had the scallops, cod, coleslaw and clam chowder. Yummy as usual but what set this apart was the service, cleanliness and overall experience there today. Sarah greeted us and took our order and was so sweet and professional! Rodney, who was the manager, spent time in kitchen cooking, served food, checked on everybody and really cared. They are so nice there and such hard workers. They made my day!

Yikes...this is just really bad food. I would describe the taste as 90% salt and 10% cardboard. The breading texture was soft and white and just fell off the fish. French fries were completely stale. I just want people to be aware that this is not "restaurant" style fish chips; it's actually junk fast food.
