This was our 2nd visit and it was even better than the 1st (which I didn't think was possible). Food is unbelievably delicious And beautifully presented (looked like art). Service was very good too. We had the sushi boat and actually requested some items (it's usually chef's choice). They accommodated our requests with no problem (or additional charges).
Great atmosphere, food was delicious and we didn't have to wait a long time for our sushi rolls to be prepared. Our server was fun and attending but not hovering. I will definitely be back!
My second visit and it was just as good as the first.i shared a sea weed salad and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The miso soup warmed me up nicely for the sushi boat. We also had hot tea and drunken whale saki.
First time eating inside. Nicely appointed. The staff were proper in their duties. The Hana has their own creations which are described on the back of the order sheet along with all the usual rolls and you get a full size pencil. 😄 What was the most interesting aspect was the choice of background music, Spanish music! I was there on a Groupon which comes in handy. The only way to get into the parking lot is by going North on Union. There are two sets of retail stores with Hana being in the second set, see pics.
This location is excellent and I highly recommend coming here. There lunch options are delicious, the sesame chicken is superb. The sushi is incredible. The customer service is accommodating. Everything about this sushi spot is wonderful and you should come check this place out! I’ve been coming here for 5 years and have never had a bad experience. I love you guys!
Very fast service, vey nice staff, Brad menu options, very fresh fish and overall a delightful time. Fantastic sushi and dining experience in west Lakewood- would highly recommend!
A hidden gem! This Japanese sushi-and-more restaurant is literally hidden on a busy highway but once inside it is a must visit. We were impressed that the lunch menu had numerous choices based on raw seafood, way beyond sushi. We had “Tuna in 3 Ways” ($17) that included hefty slices, sashimi and super-fresh melt-in-mouth sushi. A fresh salad or miso soup was included. Our other entrée was the “Chirashi Bowl,” a cornucopia of varied raw fish, (salmon, Tuna, yellowfin, shrimp) easily enough for two. ($24; see photo). Miso soup alone is $4. A separate order of Udon noodles (with egg, chicken and shrimp) was $16. A Small hot sake is just $2-$3. Hot tea is only $1.50 – the best deals in town. The vibe was quiet but inviting, with friendly, well informed waitstaff.
My experience was great. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back! Their misso soup is to die for. The sashimi is melt in your mouth good, I had plenty of ginger and the house sake I pretty good as well. Cold and had a sweet start and a slightly bitter dry finish.
