Cross between bakery (fancy wedding cakes and custom 3D figure cakes), treats by the slice (think elephant ears, tiramisu, cupcakes) and small ice cream shop. Nice local business.

Amazing cakes, excellent service, great people... I can't ask for anything else! A+ business owners.

I stopped in just for a slice of cake. My first visit. I opted for the German Chocolate cake on recommendation of the lady who waited on me. It was excellent. Full of flavor, not just sweet. Moist chocolate cake with a fudgy frosting with nuts, coconut, and caramel in between the layers. It was a little pricey for a slice of cake at $7.05 after tax, but the quality left me very satisfied. They didn't have a big selection of cake slices... only three.... German Chocolate, Almond with what looked like a vanilla buttercream, and another chocolate... I think it was Triple Chocolate. But they also had a fairly large selection of cupcakes. I would go in again the next time I'm in Lakeland if I have a desire for layer cake.

MY DREAM WEDDING CAKE!
We wanted a New York/Italian Style Wedding cake and Cake Makers did JUST THAT! Each floor was a different flavor and filling. Our guests STILL rave about how fabulous our cake was and HOW DELICIOUS it was!
Delivery and set up was Top Tier
Decoration was so detailed and exceeded the expectations that we had from the inspiration picture we showed them. The consult was so thorough and we planned down to the height of each layer and height of the cake.
We are so so grateful for Cake Makes Studio for the Wedding Cake of our Dreams 🤍🤍🤍

Great experience. Loved the ice cream options. The shakes and freak shakes were good. Will come back.

We drive 25 miles just for her ice cream and desserts!!!
The Freakshakes are out of this world!!! We found her by accident while dining nearby. Weekly trips are a must now as the desserts and ice cream flavors are rotated out often.

1st time, was visiting area. Had the Coconut Cupcake, and CC cookie. Both were very good!! The coconut cupcake had toasted coconut, was devine.. We wanted coffee, so she made us coffee, good coffee, not lame weak coffee. A must try!! We will definitely be back!!

We had a great experience from the tasting months before to actually cutting and eating our cake on wedding day. Not only did Cake Makers make our dream wedding wedding cake with the gold foil but it was seamlessly delivered with no issues. I love a good bakery and everything they make here is delicious! Next time we are in Lakeland I will be back for a bakery treat!
