Was in Lakeland for work and ate here multiple mornings. The food is excellent and inexpensive! Especially if you get one of the specials, will definitely come back if I'm in Lakeland again.

Britt's was very good as always. I went for the Friday, AYCE fried fish but I arrived at noon and that doesn't start until 3pm. However, the fish platter for $11.99 comes with a hearty portion, equivalent to the same amount I probably would've eaten on the unlimited special. Fish is always fried perfectly! The seasoned battered fries are delicious as well!

This place is amazing. Simple food, served simply in a great environment. It's a hidden gem in South Lakeland often over looked with is a shame.
They make an amazing Cuban believe it or not and their portions for the price is out of this world. Don't be surprised if there is a small wait from time to time ( but it is totally worth it.)
Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

On par for a Cafe, little disappointed they don't serve breakfast past 11:00am, you would think they would seeing how they close at 2:00. Got the fish sandwich with rice and beans, was just ok, it's not actually a piece of fish, it's three pieces, each about the size of a chicken tender piled on top a bun served with lettuce and tomato. 🤷 Heather was my waitress, not the friendliest, when they bring your check it has a QR code you can scan to pay, the downside is very spotty cellular service and they do not offer Wi-Fi. A different waitress other than Heather ended up taking my payment she was friendly. They have a few tables outside on the sidewalk for people who want to bring their dogs I guess, not my thing but if you don't mind someone else's dog walking around while you're eating your food it's a nice place to sit.

Best breakfast ever! My fiance and I come almost every Monday morning after coming off shift. Great thing to look forward to every week. Our server, Heather is always so positive and welcoming. The chef cooks amazing dishes. I love their Britney sandwich! You won't be disappointed.

Decent place to get a quick bite to eat. Went about 15 mins before breakfast ended on a Wednesday and didn't have to wait for a table. Ordered the nitty gritty and it was a decent portion just lacking a little bit of seasoning, Also the vanilla french toast with strawberries was delicious but maybe could have used some whip cream or maybe a glaze as it was pretty basic. Overall not bad just some minor changes and it would be top notch.

Had to take my son to pick up his glasses and he commented on how good the food smelled coming from the cafe next door. Decided to take him to lunch. It was a great experience. It is a small hole in the wall type cafe. Definitely nothing fancy but who cares. Everything was great. Our server was Christina and she was awesome. Even though we had never been there she made us feel like we were old friends coming to lunch. Both my son and I had burgers. I had the BBQ and he had a cheeseburger. They were fantastic. I usually don't go out to get a burger because my wife's burgers are so good. In this case I'm glad I did because it was really good. My son said his was as well. I'm not much for going out to eat anymore but I wouldn't mind making Britt's my Saturday lunch with wife spot permanently.

The place has a nice design, it's pretty small but comfortable, it has tables outside too which gives it some extra character. When it comes to the food I loved my husband's Nitty Gritty but my eggs were somehow sad, small and oily, so were my sausage links and my home fries felt like they were old and reheated. It wasn't anything particularly wrong with my overall experience but i wasn't impressed, not sure I could easily find a reason to come back ... maybe the grits ...

I really enjoyed the food and service. The inside is small so we sat outside. For a Monday morning I enjoy the small crowds. My grill pork chop was cooked to perfection. And my sister had this hash scrambled which was also tasty. Nice brunch place. Service was fast and friendly.
