This was a great place to stop for a yummy dinner. The Chicken Bacon Swiss was wonderful and my boyfriend said his Pile Up Burger was phenomenal! The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are looking for good food, a great homey atmosphere this is the place for you! We will definitely be back.
We're coming back!. Breakfast was so good, we may just stop by this afternoon for some BBQ to take home for dinner!

Great little stop in the perfect spot. Thanks to a well-placed billboard, we rolled into the Red Top in time for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Erica and Linda took great care of us, the locals were friendly, the grub was good -- what more could we ask for? This: if you're good, you get a little strawberry cupcke for dessert! (At least we did; what a nice touch.)
Came here for brunch after a morning hike nearby with friends.

This place has a "hole in the wall" vibe. It's very small and casual. A very relaxed atmosphere. Worth a visit.
What a nice hole in the wall, a shed with a very basic setup but ... Man ... a real good place to come back over and over again.
If you look for a nice and clean stop, on your way from A to B and want to skip all the fancy silverware setup, here is your place to go. Food comes quick, food taste good and food fills you up for the rest of the day 🍔

We had the BBQ nachos (tons of meat) and Brisket Grilled Cheese (super cheesy) with fried Okra. The sauces were delicious too!
Little pricey, I ordered a loaded chef salad, I guess they weren't referring to the salad. It was chopped iceberg lettuce with deli turkey and ham and half of a half slice of bacon. I put more lettuce on a sandwich!
Our server was excellent though, he handled 9 of us with ease.
Maybe will try it again, but will not order a salad again.
Late lunch on a Saturday afternoon the weekend of Easter. Decided to drive up 98 to check out a local business. I have passed many times going out of town and have seen ranked one of the best breakfasts in Lakeland. Found out they served breakfast all day, but for this trip, I decided to go with the Trucker. Oh wow, oh my. It was great. I requested the topping on the side. I wanted to be able to taste the meat and add to it to create the perfect combo. I preferred the sweet tangy BBQ sauce to the mustard sauce. The servers were very attentive, making several inquiries, if I needed anything and how the food was. Got a few drink refills so the $3.10 charge was easier to accept.
Thinking of trying out a different place, try this place out. We pulled in looked at the place and almost left then my nephew said let stay and try it. Glad we did because it was good. Its like eating at you family back yard get together, paper plates and good food. I got much better food and service then i expected and next time I'm in the area and hungry I'll stop here. That grilled cheese brisket was seriously cheese. Loaded with brisket and lots of cheese. Nephew had a bbq sampler platter he raved about the sauces. Kept telling me mixing together was the best. With had breakfast she wasn't overwhelmed by the gravy but enjoyed her meal. Check out the food pics for what we had. Enjoy!
Pulled up and knew just by looking at the place the BBQ here was gonna be amazing. We got the swamper with fries and it was so juicy, flavorful and delicious.
Look out Zephyrhills, new owners at the red top are doing a great job. Stopped for an early dinner and was very surprised by the great people and wonderful food. Will definitely be back.
Obviously it’s an older building so the decorum is a bit outdated, but my son said the pancakes and bacon, 10/10 which I agree, and the brisket grilled cheese was the best I’ve had, onion rings are perfect, Mac and cheese in my top 3 ever. Absolutely 10/10 food.
The food was great. Really loves the brisket and eggs. Best home fries I've had in a while. Will be back.
