Cafe Crema

Café Crema is wonderful :) It's about a 5 minute walk from my work place and it's easily my favorite place in the Central Ave. area. I've been there twice this week, once for a 'real meal' and the other time for a little treat. I'm by no means a nit-picky foodie but I definitely have a taste for quality. I've also been on a major health kick and I'm very conscious about what I eat. During my first visit I ordered their Spicy Chicken Quesadilla and a cookie. The quesadilla was so good! Everything tasted fresh, I especially liked that the little veggies (onions, celery, some other unidentifiable goodness...) were grilled with the chicken. The texture was great and everything was well-made, it wasn't a desperate slap job. The cookie was good too! On my second visit I ordered an ice cream cone. I bought a small mint chocolate in a waffle cone. It was really good! The ice cream was smooth and creamy. The waffle cone was crunchy and tasted great. The serving sizes are great for the quality of food, I'm very pleased. Menu choices are great and I love that their delicatessen items are Boar's Head. Overall, very good. The staff is also extremely friendly, from the servers to the owner, Kellie. Something else that's great is that they're open from 11:00 ~ 3:00 -- unlike the other places that close at 2. Great experience, will definitely be going back.
