Absolutely delicious and if I’m ever in the area I’ll be coming back for sure. Each dish tasted impeccable and was well presented with a good selection. It really did make me think of having good Italian cuisine. The whole family highly recommends!

Very good food. Visited twice in the past week. I had the chicken Florentine the 1st time (pictured) and Spinach salad with shrimp today. Both delicious. Service was efficient. The restaurant has lots of natural light and is in a historic building. This made for a mixture of relaxed but still elegant atmosphere. Good place for groups.

The food was what we expected for the price. Our calamari appetizer was one of the best we've had. My crab cakes were very good. His pork was tender with good flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive.
My one gripe is that rice/potatoes with root vegetables were served as sides with both of our entrees. Very heavy. Fresh vegetables would have made a more balanced meal. This was the third time I have eaten here. It's a nice change from the typical Lake Wales dining choices. Will certainly return again.
We made a reservation and arrived early ...where they were able to seat us. This restaurant has a unique decor and atmosphere...The music playing in the background was perfect. Amazing.....The food was wonderful--fresh, hot and very tasty. Katie was our waitress---so sweet and attentive. I would be happy to eat there every day! The owner is friendly and sociable. Love this place. Thank you---- this is the best restaurant and food in all of Lake Wales!! No other restaurant even compares--so impressed this type of restaurant is available in Lake Wales!!!!! Wonderful experience!!!!!
Great first experience. Not too busy on our first night there. The staff was working hard but as another reviewer mentioned, this area may not have the most experienced staff for this type of dining, but they did fine.
I had the fillet minion (rare) with stuffed shrimp atop. It was done well and the presentation of the meals were nothing short of visual perfection.
I eat at a lot of classy restaurants, the prices here are very affordable and the menu isnt gigantic but well rounded. In my experience I would rather have a place do a few things well than a lot of things mediocre.
We enjoyed meeting Henry and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Excellent Food and Service. Our waitress Sabrina was Professional and Courteous. We made some inquiries as to having a group get together and she gave us the name of the Gentlemen to call to make arrangements. Again the Food was fantastic perfect place for Valentine's Day. They also have a lunch service. Check it out you will not be disappointed.
A little hard to see the entrance from the street, but what a great find. A New York quality gastropub hiding in Lakes Wales. Extensive menu of excellent food that's a step outside the box, and made fresh to order, and very attentive service. Great wine list, a full bar with an experienced bartender that made the best martinis we've had in ages! Plenty of room for large groups and private parties. Add this to your favorite restaurant list, you won't be sorry!
I really wanted to give it a 4.5 and I'll tell you why:
Executive Summary: Great food, understaffed that day, very historic feel.
What made it a 5: Food was crazy good! I went with my wife during lunch time. It was a good chunk of change for a lunch date ($60) but we left completely happy. The feel of the place was very cool and historic. Exposed brick and wood beams. Great ambiance.
What made it a 4: Only one waitress working. Apparently this place doesn't have consistent business so management struggles if they should bring in 1 or 2 waitresses (if you are wondering, the seating area is relatively small with about 20 tables in the main area so 2 waitresses can cover...but one not so much). Management had the same problem deciding how many chefs to staff. Apparently only 1 chef was on duty that day. Long story short....it was REALLY SLOW.
Excellent food and terrific service. Nice variety of choices, steaks, seafood, and pasta. The Sicilian chicken was very tasty and has a great Sicilian style red sauce. The smoked tomato bisque was flavorful with tiny pieces of fresh tomato in it. We will go back
