Beavers At The Dam

Beavers sits overlooking the dam, slips for boaters and limited parking out front but parking across the street is available. Very friendly staff, kicking DJ, and the best fried pickles spears you'll ever wrap your lips around. Fantastic selection of local beers, full liquor bar and outdoor seating. Definitely check this place out when you're in town.

The view is great. But I actually came here for the pizza, but they no longer serve it. So I had wings and the pork platter. It took both to fill me up. But I've been eating like a starved hound these days. I had the Buffalo wings which were quite tasty though not at all spicy to my jaded tastebuds. The pulled pork was quite good. As were the crunchy fries. I found the baked beans to be soupy but tasty. The cornbread was airy and sweet but came without butter. Yet no problem, I just soaked the cornbread in the bean juice and all tasted fine indeed. They offer three types of BBQ sauce, Original, Dam Hot, and Lava Q. I must admit that I barely sensed any heat in any of them, but then I learned spicy food in Texas. So those from Minnesota might find them firey. But if you're from Tejas, reach for the Tabasco. This is a nice place. Come for some good food and good times.

I've taken my family here for lunch two or three times, job well done crew...great food. Awesome Service...Cold Bevs served with a smile. The view is great, in fact the only time I've been inside has been to use the restroom. Enjoyed our visit Everytime. It's hard to try new places when Beavers has a perfect record....Stay thirsty my friends.
